Fit
Iâm a 5â4â, size 14, XL size woman and I prefer to wear 30â tunic length tops. I couldnât find womenâs, merino base layer tunics, in that length for any price! I decided to try a menâs Large and after reading the reviews that stated these shirts are long and reading a review that said the sleeves ran a little short, I ordered this shirt. It is beautiful! Itâs butter soft, well made, not scratchy and most importantly it fits! The shoulders and arms are roomy, not baggy. The arm length is a little long on me, as expected, but not too long. The torso length is perfect!!!! It falls just below my hips! Itâs kind of snug in the hips, but thatâs to be expected in a manâs size and Iâm a woman with big hips. I can live with that. I will be ordering a half zip on the same size ASAP!
If youâre a medium to large size woman, who prefers tunic length base layers, but canât find one in womenâs sizes, buy this shirt. Itâs worth every penny!

Update:
I put the sweater through a rinse cycle and reshaped the bottom part it to make it drape around my hips. That worked perfectly! I read a review that stated they thought the sweater had some percentage of spandex. I disagree, because, I would have been unable to reshape the sweater so easily if it contained anything like that. I just wanted to mention that. Thanks for an absolutely amazing piece of clothing!

This is a perfect mid layer. Very warm and soft and comfortable. I’ve washed on gentle with wool light detergent and air dried on clothes rack. Very nice product

Fits tall women well with a longer sleeve – using as a base layer
Am wearing these under scrub tops and am finding the temperature moderation works well, it keeps things comfortable in the air-conditioning and when outside in the sun, I simply pull up the sleeves and am comfortable. The v-neck complements the scrub tops well. I ordered men’s shirts to get a longer sleeve and that worked well; it did not matter if these were in princess cut since I always have a scrub top over them. I have other merino wool tops that I use for athletic purposes and can attest they will not stink despite various outdoor activities. … The bonus socks were too big for me so I donated those to a homeless shelter.

Very comfortable and very warm
Getting more of these. This is an excellent base-layer for cooler and wetter climates. Extremely comfortable, I like the fit and I want more. Also, they sent me a pair of socks in the package that I like so much I’m getting more of those as well.

A soft, well fitting wool base layer for cooler climes – on warm-ish days I have worn it alone as a long sleeve “tee”. The black is deeply colored. Well made, no loose threads or funky seams. Great Quality
Bought this for the Camino Primitivo (Camino de Santiago) a 320 km hike. It kept me warm on chillier days and comfortable on warmer day. It held up great after the abuse of machine and hand washing. Very soft wool for the price.

It fits close to the torso but is not tight. It’s snug with a little bit of room around the midsection (pant size 32″). I love how the length at the front sits about 5 cm below the belt line and the back length sits lower making it a great base layer. The fabric feels nice and smooth, much less scratchy than other competitors at similar price points.
Branding is minimal on the left wrist. The logo looks like an iron-on adhesive that will eventually crack and disappear with every wash. Still, I am giving it 5 stars because I bought the shirt for its performance and cost, not for logo aesthetics.
