Cheap and perfect for what it needs to do
I needed a lightweight cap to keep the sun out of my eyes and act as a sweatband. I get hot and sweaty on my 32 mile (round trip) commute to work. This cap is lightweight, yet appears to be holding up just fine. It does not make my head warmer in the summer as the material is perforated and allows a lot of sweat to evaporate. With the cap on I don’t have sweat pouring down the front of my face on hot summer days. I wash it once a week. In between I just hang it over the saddle to air dry. It’s cheap and works perfectly for what I need. I could not be happier.

The brim on this cycling cap is much bigger than a standard cycling cap, so it’s not good for road biking or if you ride in your drop bars — it blocks sight. The cap itself is nice and soft, though, so I will keep it for commuting.

Fits great under a whitewater helmet!
I ordered this cap because I thought it would be a good idea to wear it under a whitewater helmet for a 5-day kayaking and rafting trip I just completed. And I was right! It was a great fit, and the little brim was just enough to help provide additional shade to my forehead and eyes. It helped protect my head from the inside of the helmet, kept sweat from soaking the protective foam of the helmet, and cooled my head nicely when I dribbled a little river water through the holes in my helmet. It also dried very quickly each evening and was ready to go the next day. Really glad I purchased this. I can see it serving me well on future trips and I can wear it under my bike helmet too if I ever get the e-bike I’ve been eyeing.
