Beautiful colors and very easy to use
I’ve been wanting to try my hand at doing my own nails, because I like having them done but don’t like the cost of going to get them done frequently. This kit came with some very pretty colors. The UV lamp is the perfect size and folds up nicely to fit inside a small pouch along with all of the bottles of color. I do wish the instructions were more clear – my first attempt wasn’t so great, but my second attempt turned out much better.

Yes, I know it looks like a toddler painted my nails, but I couldnât be more thrilled with the results!I love having painted nails but am an arborist/ wildland firefighter/emt, so it isnât really practical for me to get my nails done. I never really thought of getting the gel kits because they were so pricey and again, with what I do, just didnât make sense but I stumbled upon this and am so glad I did!! You get a good choice of colors, base and top coat and the cutest little uv light + some nail files!! for 9.99$?! You really canât go wrong! As some people stated, yes, the polish colors are pretty small, but I think for the price, you are still getting a great deal and you really donât need much. It does go on thick as others stated but I feel like it is pretty easy to evenly distribute, so that really hasnât bothered me much. I guess I donât really have anything to compare this to as this is my first time purchasing gel polish, but for the true beginner (me) so far, so good and I highly recommend!

Lovely little set
This is a great mini set. My last set was bulky and hard to store. I love the size of the UV light! Iâm docking a star because I think the polish is too translucent. It took me 3 layers to get the color opaque enough.

You will not be disappointed
I purchased this starter set because I wanted to save money by polishing my nails myself instead of paying the salon. I polished my nails the day we were to attend a wedding. This was very risky, but I took my time and did the base coat, two coats of polish, and then the top coat. I ran the uv lamp two times in between each coat. The uv lamp is a little small but thatâs ok because it is workable and I only paid $10 for the entire kit. My nails are shiny and smooth. I also polished my toes and they turned out great! This kit did not disappoint me. At first, my husband said for me to just go to the salon because it would be easier and I told him no, that I was saving us money! Haha he was concerned but then was pleasantly surprised. He said that they look nice and that I did a good job. My son even complimented me. I felt good about how my nails turned out and didnât worry about scratching off the polish. I felt even better knowing the money that I saved! The polish did not have a strong smell at all which is a plus for my scent allergies. I will be purchasing more polish because the bottles are small and I would like to try more colors.

I have never used this kind of polish or a UV light. I do think the colors look a little diff in person than in the pics but I do still love them. With the UV light I didnât have to sit for an hour waiting on my polish to dry. It looks smooth and shiny!This was my previous review, but I am changing it now that Iâve had to remove the polish. The polish star flaking off within four days, which surprised me, but the other polish was not flaking was very hard to get off. I followed the directions except them and remover like was supposed to, but they still, tore my nails up. Very similar to what happens when I have fake nails on where it takes the top layer of my nail off.
