Good product
I first tried this out on our dog before using it on our senior cat who I bought this for. It surprisingly goes through the fur with little effort, very smooth & little pulling on fur/skin. Our old man stopped grooming himself a good while back so I needed something that was more humane than a fine tooth comb. He didnât complain too much before enjoying the process once the small matting was removed. Important to note both animals are short haired so I donât know how well it works on longer coats but I am very satisfied with the tool.

Best brush Ever!
I decided to leave a review after just two minutes of brushing I was able to get so much fur out using the 9 blade side for deshedding!I was using another brush before purchasing this brush and there is no comparison.This brush has two sides. One for deshedding and one for detangling and both are great. If you have dog with long fur like me, this is a must buy!Affordable and it works better than you could imagine.See picture of Gypsy and her fur taken out by just 2 minutes of using the deshedding side of the brush.

Great for long haired cats
I’m shocked at the amount of fur this brush gets out. It helps to get tangled fur out too. We use a brush first then use this to help reduce shedding.This brush is very easy to use and to clean. The key is to use short strokes and you’ll be amazed at how well it works!

A Tale of 2 Dogs
My girls have very different fur texture. One has short straight fur and the other is long, wavy, double coated. My girl with short straight fur loves this. It gets out all the loose fur even when she doesn’t look like she’s shedding. It’s gentle enough that she’s wagging her tail the whole time and just enjoying the attention.My long haired lovely however hates it. It pulls more than a regular brush and because she has a wavy texture I think it’s pulling hair that’s not ready to come out. Although, it did take out a ton of fur on the few sweeps we were able to get she’s now afraid to be brushed.Basically, it works really really well but may take some training to be accepted by all breeds due to a little extra pulling.

This brush immediately made an impact on my lab. I got a ton of undercoat off of him and he is already shedding less and looks more sleek than he already did. Worth the money!

GAME CHANGER
I have a very fluffy, very complicated kitty at home who has never been a huge fan of brushing. As a result, now that she’s getting to be more senior, she gets very aggressive dreads/mats that ultimately need to be cut off. I bought this tool on a whim because we’ve tried so many things and I figured “why not?”. Holy moly! Absolute game changer. Not only does she seem to not mind this brush, but she actually stays put for it. On top of that miracle, it is the most effective tool I’ve ever come across to remove excess underfloof. Her fur was PILING up and her coat felt so lovely afterwards! It didn’t take care of the super tough mats, but it did clear a lot of floof away to make cutting those out much easier. I fully recommend this product!

Holy Hades, it’s a miracle
I’ve tried all sorts of brushes for my longhaired Siamese. Poor fellow is starting to have hairballs and cannot, for the life of him, penetrate that coat. I’ve tried other brushes before – regular brushes, the infamous furminator, and the “de shedding glove,” but none of these seemed to pull off more than a few wisps of his fine hair. I was skeptical when I looked at this product because the teeth of the brush were so far apart, and the hooks didn’t look that promising. I thought, “that’ll just glide right through his fur and do nothing.” But other people’s reviews with equally fluffy cats made me buy it.So. Glad. I. Did. I don’t know what magic this thing has, but it pulls out clumps of fur. The chunk in the picture is only half as much as I was finally able to grab by the end of our session. And beware, your carpet will be coated in fur, and so will you. He doesn’t want to sit still for it, so I keep a treat container nearby and let him paw and shove at it for a bit as I brush. Then I give him one and get a few shots in at his hind quarters while he chews. Another thing I noticed is that I pull out a lot more fur if I work the way a cat licks. Short, quick strokes really do the trick. Go in alternating directions to grab more – down strokes, then side strokes, then down again. Grabs a ton.I also listened to another reviewer who recommended the small for cats. Great advice, thank you whoever you were. Perfect size for my tank of a Siamese. He’s a happy boy now that there’s a lot less of him. Product seems sturdy like it will last a long time . Thank you Maxpower Planet Pet!

I have an Alaskan malamute and I’ve gone through so many brushes throughout the years. This one really does a great job when she sheds her winter coat and has chunks of fur all over her body. It takes me forever or a huge grooming bill to get her to look domesticated and feral. But this brush does a great job. I do switch to another brush after getting all her chunks out for the top coat. But this one is a life saver come spring.

This really works! I have a long haired cat that is difficult to groom. It took 4 people in Kevlar gloves to try and comb the mats out at the groomers. Switched to getting her sedated once a year and getting a lion cut. $200-500$ each time. Now that’s she’s getting older (12) I’d like to avoid having her sedated so thought I would try this and it worked like a hot damn! She was severely matted and I was able to get them all out in 1 day. It leaves the fur pretty janky after but honestly it will grow back and she is a happier cat and no longer in pain as these were so close to the skin. 100% would recommend!
