Everything I was hoping for.
This is a great yoga block. I like it much better than the foam one I had before. It is sturdy and smooth and made from a natural material. It looks nice in the corner of my living room when it’s not in use.But most importantly, it is NOT very heavy. I really left this review mostly to say that. When I was shopping for this, I read all the reviews that said it was a nice block but way too heavy to take to a class, it’s only for home use. This is nonsense! If you are able-bodied enough to go to a yoga class, you will have no problems carrying this block with you. It weighs about 33 oz (I weighed mine). About the same as my big water bottle when it’s full. It is heavier than a foam block, yes. But it is still not very heavy. I mean, really.I mostly practice at home, but a few times a month I join in a class and I will not be hesitating to bring my block with me.

The best
I bought these for my home practice since my yoga studio uses them. I love these cork yoga blocks! They are heavy, sturdy and provide great support, unlike the foam yoga blocks. I trust these to hold my weight when practicing poses like chin stand or learning arm balances. They do not wobble and the texture makes them non-slip.Lately, I have been using them as supports under my bolster for prenatal savasana, and there are no problems with them tipping over or moving around. Great product.

I’m very happy with thess blocks
I wanted to upgrade from foam to cork blocks for a while. I decided on these because they are a reasonable price and come from a reputable brand. Each block is just over 2lbs, which is light enough to move easily while adjusting a pose, but heavy enough to create a strong foundation. I chose the larger dimensions because I enjoy using them as a seat when I am meditating or sitting at a low table. I would recommend these to anyone. They are beautiful, functional, and all around well made.

First yoga block proves to be a solid choice!!!
I purchased this block along with my BlackMatPRO yoga mat and I’m glad I did. What got me into buying Manduka was doing Yoga X from P90X. I was using the Harbinger mat before but, it kept moving around when doing the warrior postures and when I sweat I would slip all over the place. Both Manduka mat and block helped me improve my yoga postures because they allowed me to be more sturdy and not slip when I sweat a little. The block in particular was very useful, there’s a move called warrior 3 and it’s the hardest balance posture in my opinion and the cork block really helped in keeping my balance up until I could ween myself off it. The reason I gave it a 4 star and not a 5 is because of the material, while cork feels very sturdy and nice to touch it shaves off little flakes when using it. This is not a deal breaker but, it’s something to consider as you will have clean off your mat a bit. So if your a big Yoga person or your doing P90X(Tony Horton uses Manduka for his Yoga) and you need a little extra help in the balance department or you need it for more advance stretch moves I highly recommend this block along with the BlackMatPRO.

Sturdy blocks!
I love how sturdy this blocks are! When I do use block I need something that doesn’t feel foamy, so this are the best ones for me. Great support and grip which gives great stability to my practice when I use them

I can’t believe people in the negative reviews are complaining that the blocks are heavy and/or too firm. That’s the whole point of a cork block. You going to write a negative review for York Barbell that their weights are too heavy? These blocks are freaking amazing. Oh, and if you received a damaged product, well, that happens. Stop being such a baby and just submit for an exchange. I just did that with a pair of foam blocks! GAH!
