Nice size, well made. My cats just never used it
This is a well made bed. My cats however just weren’t fans. They seem to prefer their fluffy soft beds over this one that has more of a scratch ad texture.

Needs assembly – odd packaging
I ordered the large size Sisal Cat Scratch Lounge with Pillow for my 19-20 pound Maine Coon, Max, and he fits on/in it very well. This item came tightly rolled and sealed in plastic, which was then tightly rolled in paper and shipped in a box. When I first cut open the paper wrapping, I was very puzzled about what I had received, because there are no notes or instructions regarding the contents. (Be careful when cutting open the paper and plastic wrappings, lest you cut into the item! It is that tight!) The bottom cushion (yellow) and the pillow (grey) need to be inserted into the zipper pockets of this Lounge. The end product was what I was expecting, so I am pleased. However, it probably would not be best shipped as a gift to someone, because they’ll probably have no clue what you sent them. I got this Lounge to place on the top platform of Max’s tree that stands over 6 feet tall. Prior to placing this on the top level, we had a thicker bed up there and he didn’t seem interested in going to the top level. Now, with this Lounge on top, he is very content going up to scratch and recline on it. So, this purchase was a successful endeavor!.

A hit with my cats
This is one of those things I didn’t have high expectations of and was surprised to see my cats absolutely love. One of them was taking a nap on it within the first 10 minutes lol. Happened to set it out on my cat’s 3rd birthday and was happy to see him so content and comfortable on it. Size large is actually spacious, my cats are usually to large for this type of thing. When it arrives I do recommend being careful opening it, it arrived folded and taped up in a paper packaging and I was having trouble getting it open, opted to used scissors and unfortunately cut into the cushion a bit.

Very great idea
Itâs a good size and it does help with animals to scratch on it. Itâs soft on the top part where they can lay on like a pillow top. They donât use it as much as I expected they into being that itâs on the couch. I could put it on the floor and they still kind of walked past it so itâs not as appealing for them, but they have used it and it is good for the house to prevent scratching anywhere else.

Get the biggest one
If your cat loves to scratch on posts, rugs, or carpet, get them this bed. It has a fuzzy, fabric covered, bolster pillow that goes around the back with the perfect jute-feel bed in the center. Right away my cat was sinking his claws into the bottom of this bed. This came packed up like Ft. Knox. The only assembly that was required was to place the foam core in the center part of the bed and cover the bolster. The outer cover zips on and off so it should be easy to clean. I’m so glad I ordered the largest size. He has plenty of room to stretch out and lie down without hanging over the edges. The small seems more kitten sized and with the medium, you would have to have a smaller cat. I thought about deducting one star for the value because I do think it’s a bit overpriced. While it’s decent quality, it’s a cat bed. The most I would usually pay is $30.

Large size accommodates my large cat
This is a well made scratcher bed. The large size accommodated my largest cat who weighs in at 12 pounds. After the addition of a pinch or two of cat nip they all took to it right away. They really donât like cushioned beds so this thin sisal scratching material is just what they like. It took a few minutes to assemble but I think they are going to love it. Recommended.
