I work remotely and like to travel as well. I purchased this for holding a 15in travel screen. This thing works great! It holds the screen perfectly and there is a ton of adjustability, including forward/backward tilt and height to get it at just the right angle. When I’m home, it’s strong enough to hold my laptop up so I can use my mouse and keyboard without the laptop obstructing desk space. I purchased this specifically for my portable monitor. The first thing I noticed was the weight, very solid. This is no flimsy stand. Aesthetically, it looks great! I can see myself using it for my iPad as well, so it’s versatile. The pads on the bottom are very thick, very stable!
There is an Allen key underneath in case you want to tighten or loosen the nuts on the joints. I like that it folds to less than 1″ thickness, this makes it easy to pack. Overall this is a great stand!
