    Another shot at history
I always enjoy the St Mary’s Chronicles series and these Christmas unauthorized jump shorts.Taylor has such a great way of portraying the ancient historical world. The sarcasm, corny jokes and genuine concern, (or not), of this cast of characters is always top notch. This tale is no exception. Max, Markham, Evans, and Adrian are on a recovery mission to ancient Troy after Adrien lost a woman who is a movie star and whom believes that she is going to see a holo of ancient Troy. Enter a drone, a possessive eagle, and a 6 foot tall blond haired goddess, and what could possibly go wrong? This was another happy romp through history!

    A Ripping Yarn
On par with Ms. Taylor’s best. Clever, witty, and undoubtedly one to read several times. A sure way to liven up a couple hours of time.

Time Travel At Its Best with St. Mary’s
LIGHTS, CAMERA, MAYHEM! By Jodi Taylor. Another St. Mary’s story. This one involves a movie company wanting to use St. Mary’s skill for a movie. It involves travel back to Troy where an eagle gets involved almost ruining the trip by killing one of the travelers. It is another adventure with Max and company going to Troy to hopefully locate one of the actors. It is involved and crazy and funny. The usual cast is involved but nothing turns out exactly as hoped. Treat yourself to this holiday book and get it for .99. You’ll enjoy the read.

Surprises and Treats! In time for Christmas!
Oh the twists and turns when a holiday story from Jodi Taylor arrives in my Christmas story! I read it in one sitting, enjoyed it very much, and became more curious about another fascinating period of history. Thank you Jodi.

    Another Gem from St. Mary’s
Great short story. The perfect blending of humor and adventure. I hope to see more St. Mary’s newest employee. She sounds like the perfect replacement for Ms Black.

    Excellent as always
Not a Christmas themed short story, more like one of her full length books condensed. An excellent tie in to A Second Chance, and a hint a tie in with Uncle Albert (which I’d been wondering about as I’m sure had other fans). Adrian, before or after Albert? Lots of action and anxiety provoking moments. No one does it better. I hope she gives us a full length St. Mary’s before to long.

    Goats!
Always a pleasure to read – and as ever I laugh to the point of tears and learn something interesting about ancient history. Well done, again.

Calvin Cutter is back to disregard all the advice the Historical Institute of St Mary’s gives him on his next film. This time though he brought his two main actors. The female lead would much rather see the actual historical events than CC’s overblown historically inaccurate fiction and she might just get a chance to do so. But with all pods and most of the staff at the remote site, things might get hairy.Loved the story. Loved the narration by Zara Ramm.

An entertaining romp around Troy as our band of historians stagger from one disaster to the next. The day is saved, just in time to return to St Mary’s and an unimpressed Dr Bairstow.

The latest Christmas short story from St Mary’s is a fun read. I enjoyed the return to Troy and setting up potential future stories with the employment of a new staff member at St Mary’s. Looking forward to the next instalment.
