Quality set. Fun game for the family…
The set itself is very nice. The “leather” cups seem well made and I like the touch of the pirate skull and cross bones on the bottom of each cup. The neoprene “board” is a nice touch, making scoring very easy to keep track of. The merchant indicates the game can be played with as few as two players. Technically that’s possible, but I’m not altogether sure how much fun that would be. But this will be a game we’ll play over the years and would be one to add to your collection of games in the closet!

I bought this game I’m looking for something quick and easy to play with the family or as a bar game and this is perfect. Each game lasts 2-10 min depending on players. Although it’s fake leather, The cups are sturdy and authentic looking enough to pass as the real thing. Each cup is lined on the inside which is nice because nobody wants to hear six people rattling dice all at once. The little game board that it comes with is not very useful but may come in handy with more players I’ve only played it with two or three people total.It’s really fun at the end to reveal your dice and the other person’s to see how well they bluffed. we had a great family game night playing it and we will be playing it pretty often in the future It’s become one of our favorites.

High Quality and Nicely Designed
Sure, you could play Liars Dice with just the dice … but the tumblers and the mat add to the flavor of the game. My family and I appreciate nicely designed games (like Century: Golem edition) and this set of Liars Dice gets the highest ratings from us. The tumblers are a perfect size and of high quality. The dice are crafted to fit the style of the game and the mat is designed well (early pirate). Even the very sturdy box is illustrated to look like a wooden chest. It’s a pleasure to take it off the shelf and play with the family. The way I know I’ve gotten my money’s worth is that we play it often and I can’t recall how much I paid for it. (Some games I think are over-priced are poorly designed art-wise and/or have poor game play.)

I love this game already. Very easy to learn, not too long and not too short hours to play, nicely using brain. Specially guys love this always when I introduced (some women not to so much).I bought this for my friend’s birthday. The version I played before was the German version (called Bluff). This package is totally much better. Cups are leather-like soft touch, the numbers map is soft silicone mat instead of just a printed paper, dice are mysterious marble pattern. Simply beautiful. However, 1 side of the dice is special wild number in this game, it’s the point. The German version I played had the side “â”, of course. No reason not to. But this version uses normal 1-6 dice. We need to say “how many 6..and 1 on the table?” always. We got used to it soon, not a big deal. But why?If one side of dice was â, it would be perfect.

Absolutely perfect! This is just what I wanted, and everything is exactly as pictured by the seller. It comes in a nice box that contains six leather dice cups that are soft on the inside, with a skull pictured on the bottom of every cup. Then a set of dice for each cup, totaling 30 dice that are slightly beveled on the sides with an aged look and cool swirlies for numbers. Also, it included the extra red die that makes it easier to keep track of bets. Then the neoprene playing matt which is made of mousepad material with old fashioned pirate sketches on it. Then a set of instructions are included, and I must say, they are the easiest to follow instructions I’ve ever had with this game! They make it so much easier to get in an play and to teach others. I would highly recommend this set as the perfect alternative to the much more expensive set that goes with the Pirates of the Caribbean movie. Although this set makes no mention to the movie, it is still about pirates, so I say it’s close enough!
