Works great! Love the app control features!
I use this in my bedroom. It keeps the air nice and fresh in my room. If you have bad allergies buy it, you control it and it works with WiFi so you get alerts on your phone or tablet and it tells you what your air quality is; good, bad, very good etc. while it’s running which is peace of mind. You name it on the app so it will alert you that “your device name” detects bad air or good air! It turns colors depending on air quality. Red is bad. Green is good. Blue very good. There’s 4 fan speeds. It runs quiet on normal fan speed 1 or 2 unless you have it up high (3 or 4). Sleep mode is super quiet. I like the auto feature which is great for power saving and only on when needed; if not on auto mode it will continuously run. Don’t have pets so haven’t used that setting. It seems to keep the dust level down tho and keeps the air fresher and keeps you breathing clearer and easier. It has a pre-filter you can clean yourself by rinsing off to kind of preserve the actual filter & having to buy another so fast! That’s a great idea! I remember my AC unit in a house I lived in had that kind of filter; I never had to buy any, just took it out back and hosed it down! Nevertheless it’s a nice size purifier and I keep it in a cleared corner of my bedroom out of the way. I would say it’s definitely worth the money. Would recommend getting one for sure! A solid product with only one major issue
Sleek design. Easy to set-up. The app is actually quite easy to use once you get the hang of it.My only issue is that it does not detect odors. And that is on me for not noticing that in the first place. That said, for the price, it should do that. What it does is detect particulates in the air. Those particulates could be cigarette smoke, incense, fish frying, dead bodies, etc. I guess you could say it is nice that this product doesn’t see smells. You could. But, that is an issue.I think some reviewers are gushing about this product because they think it is detecting odors. Trust me, it isn’t. That said, if it works for you, that is great.And, generally speaking, this is working for me. Dust and other such particles are getting scooped up and filtered. So, it purifies the air without actually trapping any other things that might need purifying.Still recommended. Just not five star recommended.

Easy set up, no problems with app
This is one of three products I own that use the VeSync app and none of them have given me issues staying connected to WiFi unlike many other “smart” products. The unit seems well built, it’s easy to clean, and it’s pretty quiet. The auto setting seems to be very accurate as it kicks on around the same time we start noticing increased allergen symptoms kicking in (like when a storm is moving in and bringing new pollen with it, the unit has been a good meteorologist!). Only been a few months but so far we’re happy.

I bought the Vital 100S.Like many reviewers of this product, I purchased it because the wildfire smoke had infiltrated my house. I never ever thought that I would be “that” person – someone who needed their own atmosphere! But the irritation in my nose and throat motivated me to buy this unit for my well-being.The reasons I chose this model are: the true HEPA, of course! Also the 3-stage filter. The CADR was good for the size of my rooms (I have open concept on the main floor, and a vaulted ceiling upstairs) the pre-filter is cleanable and I like the fact that I can also get specialized filters for Pet, Toxin and Smoke (in case things get really crazy!). The reviews are excellent and the price is right. I am seriously considering buying another of Levoit’s units for the upstairs!I have not used any of the “connected” features so I cannot comment on those.The unit is easy to unpack and I was able to start using it immediately. It is very presentable; it’s also light enough to be portable because I’ve been moving it from room to room (when the wind shifts sometimes the smoke comes into a different part of the house). It’s super easy to use; I love the control panel, you just tap on it to turn it on, set the fan strength, and activate the timer. The first 2 fan settings are so quiet that I can barely hear that the unit is on. The third setting is a little louder but it IS moving a lot of air after all! I’ve only had it 2 weeks so haven’t had to clean it or change the filter.One thing I didn’t consider thoroughly was the placement of the unit. In order to work properly any air purifier needs to be kind of in the middle of things. Proper placement of an air purifier is between 3 and 5 feet off the ground, with about 3 feet of open space around it. Luckily, the 100S fits well with my decor and is light enough to put on a table or my bookshelves. I was worried that it might vibrate a lot and eventually shake itself off the table but it’s staying put quite well.So far, I am very satisfied with this purchase.
