This charger is an excellent solar charger. It’s really sturdy, it’s selling for a great value for the money, the size is perfect, long battery life, weight and beautiful design.

Worked well but recharging with solar was slow
Iâve used this a few times now and I have to say that starting with a full charge is essential. I tried recharging the unit with the sun and it didnât get much charge. In an emergency it might get you enough for what you need. All the plugs worked as intended but I didnât use the center one. On the heavier side but durable. Nice for travel, backpacking and camping. Charged my phone pretty fast. Flashlights are a nice touch but I havenât used them much.

For traveling is great, light weight, well construction.I like it a lot for camping, I will put the charger on the dash of my car and it do the work.I highly recommend this product, if you camping on a remote location with not power, this charge will do the job just with the shine of the sun.I highly recommend.

Solar power is questionable
I purchased this for camping since it has solar panels. I was thinking I would be able to use the sun to charge this thing. I let it sit in direct sunlight with not a cloud in the sky for about 6 hours straight hours. It gave it 0 charge. I donât know if itâs suppose to take days for the sun to charge it but it should have definitely gave it at least some power after 6 hours. I would give this 5 stars if the solar panels worked. That was the whole point of purchasing it!Other than the solar panels not charging the thing is pretty solid. Great for traveling!. You can charge multiple things at once which is awesome. The battery does seem to last pretty long and it charges up quite a few devices multiple times before dying out. It probably charges my IPhone faster than my iPhone charger does. Thatâs my favorite part about this thing.

Pretty handy
I haven’t been out in the wilderness or anything with this yet but I’ve used it in the office and it seems to work pretty great. Was having a bit of trouble charging it with the sun through my windows at work. I think the tint is blocking the necessary juice from the sun or whatever so I just charged it over night at home and it seems fine. Sturdy and a great peace of mind for long trips away from home and just for making keeping the ipad etc. charged up.

I bought this as a back up charger for my cell phone in the event I lose electricity. I’ve found that it will actually stay charged just by sitting on my kitchen table. I’ve used the flashlight function several times and like that it’s very bright! Item is exactly as described, very fast shipping! I highly recommend this product and this seller.

Don’t count on the solar part
This battery charged my cell phone several times while on an extended camping trip. One thing to know is that you basically shouldn’t count on the solar panel to charge it. On the unit it specifically tells you the solar is rated at 5.5v/0.22A, that equals only 1.2 Watts of solar charging power, and the battery is rated at 169.5Wh, so to fully charge it would take over 140hrs of full sun, based on 10hrs of sun, this is 14 days to recharge from dead. I did find that putting it in the sun did help it not drain as fast when charging compared to rainy days with no sun, but it never added to the power indicator lights, and I was trying to only charge my phone every other day. It is still a nice sized battery pack and since it has built in cables, it was handy to have while camping so I didn’t have to worry about packing cables. Also having the carabiner on it meant it was easy to hand from a tent, tree, or other object for solar charging.
