Easy to use, curls last longer, doesn’t burn hair.
I have long hair that doesn’t hold curl well. I initially bought this curler from a Facebook ad about 3 years ago. Prior to using this curler, I used a curler with a rotating wand, which I like, but after I curled my hair in the 2nd story bathroom, my hair was almost straight by the time I got to the bottom of the stairs on the fist level. Since my previous curler was heat only, I used the highest heat to curl my hair in an effort to make the curl last a little longer. Because of this, I often had to have my hair trimmed to cut off the burned ends.
After about 3 years of use, my other L’ange curler got a film on the curling plates from hair spray I use, and my hair was starting to stick to the plates. So, I decided to clean the plates. Since the film was kind of thick, I used a scrubby to get it off. After cleaning, and getting the curler wet, it didn’t work. So, I had to go back to using the rotating curler until I got the order for this one. I was not a happy camper!!
Surprisingly, my loved L’ange curler needed only to dry and the next day it was working again. So, now I have this one as a backup. This is fine with me since I don’t want to be without this curler again.
What I love about this curler is:
1) I don’t have to use the highest to get a nice curl.
2) Since the fan cools the curl as you go, the curl lasts much longer than with other heated curling irons.
3) It doesn’t take long to get used to using this curler for the curl you want. For me, I curl the top of my hair, which is shorter, in 3 sections. After I brush it out, I use the curler to modify the curl until it lays the way I want it to. I curl the longer hair in two sections pulled to the front to smooth the hair and get curl only at the ends.
It can take a little practice to get the curl you want. Small sections will produce more curl for each section. Larger section are fine if you want smoothing of the hair and a little curl only at the ends. The trick is to turn the curler as you move it slowly down the hair strands and hold it a little longer at the ends for more curl. The longer you hold it, the more it curls.

Curls did not last long. Does better as a straightener.
Pros: Cool to touch, eliminates burn risk of straightening or curling. Easy to use. Lots of temperature choices.
Cons: Button that turns it on or off on handle where you often hit it while styling. Curls don’t last long at all.

Works exactly as advertised, so easy to use!
I had seen videos of this tool many times and thought there was no way it could really curl hair that easily but it can! I am so impressed with how effortless it is to get beautiful curls that last multiple days! You can even get different types of curls by changing how much you twist the barrel as you pull it through your hair. I’ve only had it a few weeks so I can’t comment on the longevity yet but so far it is amazing!

Did not curl as expected
The product heats quickly, is light weight and easy to use. However it did not curl my hair very well and the curls did not last as long as they normally would. I currently use a medium barrel curling iron in my long hair (past shoulder blades).
Since my hair normally curls easily, i was surprised this product didn’t work as well. I gifted it to my granddaughter who is 13. She is just starting out with styling her hair so appreciate it.
I could’ve turned the heat up, but i don’t want fried hair. I set it at the same temp as my wand. I even turned off the air to see if that helped-nada.

I have to be honest I bought this around Christmas time and returned it because I didn’t understand how to work it. I’m so glad I gave it a second chance! I realized I was trying to use it too much like a typical hair curler instead of curling part of a section through and then sliding it down. Not only is it quick and easy its probably the only hair curler that works for extremely long hair because I can curl it from top to bottom in one pass instead of awkwardly winding part around the barrel and then having to move to the second half!
I have extremely long hair, but have always been sad because apart from straightening it, I am not hair savvy. I actually really am terrible at doing hair, but not only is this fast, it’s pretty easy to use once you understand how to do it properly! Not only that it is a two in one so it is 100% going to be my go to for travelling or overnights at my boyfriends place!
Highly recommend for people with extremely long hair or people who really aren’t great at wielding a curling wand. Trust me I’m pretty terrible at it but with this I was able to quite quickly and effortlessly get gorgeous curls.
