Owned since 2015! It’s 2024! Superior!
I bought 2 pair of these back in 2015 to use as swim trunks under my swim dresses/tankini’s and they are STILL near perfect. I am 5’8 and approx 230lbs atm and got the XXL. Back then I was 190lbs and they fit perfectly either way. I own my own pool so, lots of constant use! I just happened to decide to look through my past orders and pick up a couple more. Sadly, the price has nearly doubled. I paid maybe $26 back then but tbf they are quite worth it. I rarely leave reviews but would like to see this product stick around, and was awesomely surprised they still were.

goodbye chubby chafe!
If you are like me, and suffer from what I like to call the chubby chafe, this product is for you! Although I am not actually chubby, when you play a sport like college women’s lacrosse where your uniform includes a miniskirt (but don’t let that fool you, we’re pretty badass), thigh chafing is almost unavoidable. I can’t stand the shorter spandex that tend to roll up so you end up looking like you’re picking a wedgie or scratching your crotch in front of hundreds of fans and photographers, which is why I ended up going with these. They protect your thighs from chafing and keep your quads and hamstrings reasonably warm in cold weather, which is incredibly important in a sport like this. No one likes a pulled butt muscles, much less anything else.anyway, I highly recommend these whether or not you play a sport or are a casual cyclist.pros:1. They fit as expected and are incredibly comfortable.2. They do not roll either on the waist or end of the thighs.3. They do a decent job of compressing and keeping muscles warm4. NO CHUBBY CHAFE!Cons:1. Extremely high waisted. Seriously, I could pull these up to my boobs, and I’m practically an amazon with a long torso.2. If you are one of those weird ladies that wears underwear under your spandex, even the most discreet line will show like the baggiest of granny panties3. Traps heat a little too well at times, which leads to some epic swamp ass after a particularly rough game in 85 degree heat.

My new favorite workout shorts
I was looking for shorts that were long enough to keep my thighs from chafing while I run, but confortable enough for the summer. I believe that I’ve found both of these qualities in these shorts! (I have not run in them yet, but I’m looking forward to it!) They are thin and feel very breathable. I ordered a small, (36-37 waist) even though I’m around the medium size (37-38) They are comfortable though not too tight and so if/when I lose an inch or two I will still be able to use these. I ordered these with 3 other items, all prime shipping (2 day) and I got these shorts before receiving the other items. I honestly think I’ll be getting these in more colors. I usually only buy items that have a lot of reviews, prime shipping, or a bestseller. Since these shorts are cheaper than the others (including shipping) and have better reviews (2, now 3) I would take my chance with them and I’m glad I did!.

Purple is transparent over curvy frame, otherwise great for running
I bought these shorts as an under-layer for running, with looser shorts over the top. I am tall (5’11”) and curvy (big rear and hips). I love the length of these shorts, they come maybe 2/3 of the way down my thigh — they don’t roll up. I also love the waist — it’s high, a couple inches above my belly button, but given my curves, that high waist stays up much better than the more fashionable low waistlines. The material is slick and will help me stay modest/avoid thigh chafing. The major problem with these shorts (in the purple) is that the rear is quite see-through. Solid underpants are clearly seen through the fabric. I won’t be able to wear these without a top layer. This is probably a bigger problem for me because my hips/rear are pretty big. In short — if you’re curvy like me, these may be a bit transparent on you. Otherwise, they’re great.

They’ll Work
They’ll Work… I love the length. Usually with Under armor brand a Medium is pretty tight and a large is a little looser than what compression should be but it works for my needs. I ordered the large in these… the material is more stretchy than Under Armour brand so these don’t provide a lot of compression for me. I love the inseam length, but the tummy area if pulled flat, comes over my ribs (so very high) and seems like they were meant for people with a larger stomach. Overall, I’ll wear under my work uniform to prevent chafing, but I will not wear to work out.my biggest complaint is that I am pretty sure the pair I received had been returned, they came in a plastic bag with the sales tags loose in the bag like they had been removed.
