I really liked this product a lot. The wax pot itself is extremely easy to use, and I love that. It comes with both the silicone and the metal wax melter. At first, I didnât know if the silicone was meant to be heated up, but then I did some research and yes, of course you can use the silicone to put the wax in there even though it does take a little bit longer to melt. The wax itself was OK, I feel like the only one that really stood out was the one for thin hair. I use that for my peach fuzz, happy trail, and a little bit of my sideburns, and it literally took everything out. I would always recommend buying a higher quality wax. Please do not rely on these ones. I feel like itâs only enough wax for you to get a first experience. I love that it came with the little popsicle sticks. The only thing I didnât really like about any of the waxes is the fact that they were all kind of stringy but other than that for what you pay for itâs honestly a great bundle! Iâve already used a different type of wax from another company in this wax pot and it did great. I used hard wax for a Brazilian. Anyways, if youâve gotten waxed before and you wanna try it yourself, this is definitely a great wax kit! ð¥°

Iâd like to state that I am a novice at waxing. I have a terrible reaction to shaving. No matter the blade, technique, or aftercare product, I seem to always end up with terrible razor bumps that hurt badly. With summer coming up, I decided Iâve had enough and want to feel confident showing my legs again. I did quite a bit of research regarding different products and how to wax properly. I watched lots of videos as well- some helpful and some scary. But I quickly learned the scary ones were truly human error or a lack of practice. Iâm hoping that sharing my experience can help another beginner like me!Since I wasnât sure how my skin would react to waxing, I didnât want to spend a fortune. But I also wanted to do it right. This was a wonderful deal. The warmer is super cute (I got the pink one), and itâs small enough to fit on my bathroom shelf. Itâs also not an eye sore and I donât feel the need to hide it somewhere. Shipping was fast and everything was exactly as described.The manual was very helpful, although I do think it would have touched more on how to operate the actual warmer. However, it ended up not being an issue because itâs easy-peasy. After plugging in and pouring your wax beads, you simply turn the dial to the temp youâd like. 155-160 was perfect for me. The manual does address this, but you must remember that the warmer is going to reach its max temp in order to fully melt the wax (240 something- extremely hot!) The digital reader will rise and then fall back down to your set temp. Thereâs also a red/green light to let you know when itâs ready (it took about a total of 10-15 minutes.) Test a small amount on your inner wrist before diving into it. This will give you an idea of how it will feel and if the consistency is correct. I feel that it needs to be a bit thicker than honey⦠more like condensed milk.There is definitely a learning curve to this whole process. Holding horizontally and twisting the stick is your best friend. This helps to create a bulb at the end of the stick. I recommend also using an up and down motion as you twist, similar to a handshake, to separate any strings hanging onto the bulb. If there is any dripping, the wax is way too hot, but this should not happen if you keep it between 155-160. I started on my leg and the technique wasnât hard to learn, but I was getting sad when I wasnât picking up much hair. I took a break from that and tried my armpit. This is where I learned a lot. Because my armpits are more sensitive than my legs, and I was anxious about the pain, I peeled the wax much sooner than I was before. It ripped out every hair. And I mean ALL of it. And the pain was so minimal, it took me all of 2 minutes to finish both armpits. The directions say to peel after 30-45 seconds, but this was too long and was making the wax un-stick to my hair. I found more success in waiting about 10 seconds, and so the rest of the waxing was smooth sailing.Iâm sure it can be different for people with other hair types and directions of growth, but I think patience and practice is key. I let my coarser hairs grow a bit longer than a grain of rice (which was an annoying 3 weeks, but itâs worth it!) My hairs grow at different speeds and thickness, so I can feel some of the small, finer hairs still. But I know waxing has to be done multiple times before itâs uniform and/or stops growing. You can always tweeze anything noticeable leftover. Overall, I am so satisfied and impressed with this purchase and couldnât recommend it enough, especially for someone wanting to learn how. It’s been 24 hours and normally Iâd be covered in painful bumps, but my skin is silky smooth and clear! I love that they also sell Kotamu wax beads separately so that you can keep using the brand if you adore it like I did!

Love This Wax Pot
First off, I am not a professional waxer by any means! Iâve been using hard wax for about a year now, just for a few small areas.This wax pot is awesome for my needs. Super easy to use and basically dummy proof. The silicone bowl is a game changer when itâs time to clean and switch wax. Makes it so easy!The wax that it comes with is not my favorite but itâs not the worst Iâve ever used. Kinda stringy but it gets the job done. I have been using my preferred wax instead and have had no issues.

Affordable wax warmer w/ good wax.
I have been looking for a wax warmer for a while. After years of warming up wax in a microwave I decided to buy an affordable wax warmer and this was exactly what I wanted. I have tried both of the wax samples that come with the purchase and the wax worked great for facial hair and body hair. I do it every 2 weeks and it is easy and quick. I only have to use wax a couple times on my upper lip and eyebrow for all the hair to be removed. I can adjust the temperature as I please and it only takes about 10 minutes to reach the desired temperature.It does not come with any after care cream but that was not a big deal.

i love the wax warmer in this kit and the silicone insert that it comes with, makes for easy wax removal so you donât have to spend time cleaning it out. on the other hand, the wax beads that come with this kit didnât do too well for me. i would recommend buying the wax melter and different brand beads for best outcome!

If youâre a beginner like me, donât buy these beads. They take forever to dry and stick on everything, and leave such a messy residue even if the strip comes off in one piece. Even soap and water isnât gonna get all of the tiny residue out.. But the heater is really good, love the silicone bowl as well.

Works perfectly well.FYI, With one 100g packet of the wax beads I was able to wax my legs from foot to knee, underarms, upper lip and side burns.Does not bruise and effectively removes unwanted hair.

I was really pleased with how this wax warmer was working, and the wax was great too. However sadly the machine turned itself off and stopped working only 20 minutes of first use. I donât know whether mine is faulty or what happened, but any advice would be greatly appreciated..

DO NOT BUY!!!!! I bought this as a gift for my sister after she had been begging me for months we got it and it was working great 3 months later it stopped working out of nowhere. Still turns on but doesnât get hot enough to melt beads. The seller refuses to contact me back after multiple attempts of reaching out. The seller page it says return or exchange 100% guaranteed if you are not happy with the purchase but they donât want to return or exchange your product! They will give you the run around and wonât replace the damaged items, these are cheaply made and not meant to last BEST ADVICE: DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!
