A little snug
The hat is nicely made & sturdy looking. I’m a 70 year old woman with a very small head & have always needed children hats vs adult size. It stays in place over nose/mouth, coverage of forehead, neck/back & front is great, the head part is a bit snug. The material is stretchy so it is not uncomfortable, just snug. I will wear it to shovel snow this winter even though it makes me look like a ninja.

I received my balaclava used in a sealed bag
I thought it was me .After opening the package i tried it on and it stunk . I then asked a friend to smell it and it smelled like bad breath . I also noticed that the sides by you jaw stay open . I have never seen balaclava like these .I washed it and put it on . Very warm while working in a non heated warehouse.

The material is 35% cotton. I am not confident that it will work well once my kid starts perspiring or get wet. Am returning it.
