He Loves it!!!
I have a mini golden doodle puppy, and I’ve bought him several bones and toys, but he always manages to break them. I needed a toy that would be fun, durable, and long-lasting. After a week of use, this toy has proven to be very sturdy. I donât see any bite marks on it, even though he has been chewing on it a lot. The toy is squishy, which is great for his teeth since itâs not as hard as others I’ve tried. It really feels like a tire, and he loves playing catch with it! It does bounce when throwing it. Noise level 0 ð It weighs pretty light, and is safe for my puppy

Tough and Fun Toy That Lasts!
The KONG Extreme Tires toy has been fantastic for my dog! It’s made from durable natural rubber, and Iâve been impressed with how well itâs held up after over a week of active play. The design is perfect for chewing, and my dog loves that I can stuff treats inside for added engagement. Itâs also versatile for both indoor and outdoor play. So far, it has exceeded my expectations in terms of durability and entertainment value. Highly recommend it for medium to large dogs looking for a reliable and fun chew toy!

Holds up to aggressive chewers
This is the second Kong tire toy that I’ve purchased for my almost two year old lab mix who is an extreme chewer. Every other Kong toy that I’ve purchased she managed to destroy within days, but it took her almost a full year to chew a hole into the black tire toy so I purchased another last month and it’s still in one piece and she absolutely LOVES it.

Great durable product to hide pnut butter
I have a rescue hound mix and a pitbull. They love their femur snacks and they like to chew. I see bits of the femur breaking off. That’s pretty powerful jaws. For years I’ve been using the Red Kong Classic Rubber Chew toy to hide pnut butter and freeze it overnight. I do this every night. In the morning, I give it to them and they will work on the frozen pnut butter for at least half-an-hour while I leave to work. This really decrease their separation anxiety. The holes are too small for them to get to all the pnut butter. So, I have to cut part of the bottom out. It’s not easy trying to cut through the thick red rubber. These Red Kong Classic Chew Toy will last 6-9 months before the red rubber disintegrate. When I see the red rubber coming off onto the pnut butter, it’s time for a new Chew Toy.I was thrill to see Kong Traxx as it comes with the indentation for me to spread the pnut butter. The Kong Traxx is made of very sturdy thick rubber. My dogs works on getting the pnut butter every day. It’s been at least 4 months and still like new. Great durable product. I’ve seen review that says this is a flimsy product. There is at least another rubber tire out there by another vendor. I saw it at a pet supply store the other day. It was not made by Kong. Yes, it was very flimsy. So I think some how tbe other people didn’t get the Kong brand Traxx.I definitely will get the Kong Traxx again.Follow up from ones I got oct 2014. Still working fine. Groove great for pnut butter. Even better when u freeze it. I got another set because one of my kid is mouthy. He’s starting to bite off some of the rubber around the inner edge. Still functional though.

Pretty sturdy, a bit smaller than expected
It’s held up well with my mom’s sheltie. Tire toys like this are often the only thing I’ve seen hold up to super chewers. It’s smaller than I was expecting, but he has a pretty narrow mouth so he’s been able to enjoy it.

SAVE YOUR MONEY, THESE ARE UTTER GARBAGE UNLESS YOUR DOG HAS NO TEETH (MAYBE)!!
For all those purchasers who are posting videos of these toys while talking about how great they are and how long they have lasted at your house, would you mind disclosing the breed and age of your dog(s) that play with them? I only ask because I am finding these “positive” reviews REALLY hard to believe now that I have firsthand knowledge that, as a chew toy, this thing completely sucks. Based upon personal experience and the physical and photographic evidence, your dog might be an OBSESSIVE chewer, but they are most assuredly NOT a “power” chewer. If they were, you would almost certainly be posting reviews saying that this toy is utter crap, just like I’m having to do now. After many years of experience using Kong brand toys, the idea that this toy is the “most durable” Kong toy is just ridiculous, and blatant false advertising in my opinion. It took three of my dogs (a 5 year-old Boxer/Pit Bull mix (2nd pic) I’m fostering and two one year old border collie puppies) all of five minutes to completely shred FOUR of these toys straight out of the delivery box. I was the proud owner of four of these things for all of five frickin’ minutes out of the box. Meanwhile, it previously took the Boxer/Pit almost two years to destroy two medium-sized Kong “snowman” shaped toys, and even then he wasn’t able to shred them anywhere near to this degree. And believe me, he actually *IS* a true “power” chewer, as after raising and training dogs for over 50 years, I have never seen a dog completely break that type of Kong chew toy.As an aside, Kong (the company) appears to take crappy product claims only by means of printed hard copy sent via the U.S mail, so no immediate relief for your wasted expenditure on their products will soon be forthcoming. How many modern companies do you know of that don’t allow some sort of online contact for product claims, even if it’s just an email address? So I might very well have to reconsider whose products I am willing to spend my all-too hard earned money on.That said, those three dogs are all now outside throwing up chunks of these crappy toys that they swallowed while tearing them to pieces, and which I now find myself hoping really are non-toxic!! The regular “snowman” shaped Kong toys are MUCH more durable than these things are. Had I known that beforehand, I would have spent my money accordingly. The picture I posted is the last remaining toy out of the four I ordered, and I most certainly want my money back (wish me luck)!! This toy is a complete WASTE of your money for any dog that is bigger than an aged chihuahua or that actually has teeth, so I suggest that you DO NOT purchase.

Dog approved – 5 paws
Our Alaskan malamute mix wasn’t able to chew this apart like he does every other toy within 2 minutes. We were certain nothing would hold up to his chewostiy…but this, this changes the game. He loves it, it’s not breaking down, and we can stuff a treat in it for mental stimulation. Take my money!

Cannot tear it apart.
Seems like it will last.

Good size for my cavapoo. She loves to chew on it, and find her treats.

Loved the tyre. Slip some food e.g. dog nuts in it and it kept the dogs interest. Recommended.
