My sweet kitty cat loves these scratchers, she lays on them and claws into them all day long. Since they are double sided, they last a long time. After a month or two, flip them over and start all over. Exactly as described
I’m not providing many photos as it’s really not necessary… these are exactly as described by the manufacturer of distributor. I clamped them on to two different brands of cardboard scratchers and they hold on excellently. They hang from a doorknob very well. The thing is the scratcher still swings from side to side. So these didn’t really satisfy the stability that our cats look for when scratching. They need something very firm. So what I wound up doing is choosing to use two hooks one at the top and bottom and then tying the scratcher onto the side of a couch which really is a silly waste of money on this. But since we had them that’s what I did… I used the hooks to secure the rope on each end.
It was so bad looking I ultimately wound up taking that down.
Now I have one hook (attached to the cardboard scratcher) and attached (hooked around) the leg of an end table and rhe other on a leg of a chair.
I don’t think they’re bad and I wouldn’t reduce the stars because they do do what they say they will do but in our case our cats didn’t appreciate the hanging of the cardboard because it moved.
By the way I’m sure you could do a double face Velcro but we didn’t want to put any sticky on our doors since they’re painted and I know darn well even removable it would ruin the paint finish.

My Cats Love These
These scratching boxes are great for cats- my big ginger boy especially loves them. They can be a little messy with the little bits of cardboard that get ripped off with scratching, but they’re easy enough to vacuum or sweep up. I’d rather he scratch on these than the furniture!
