Of course it works great, very strong, and is the perfect large size for my hair that has outgrown the usual sizes. However, what really sets these apart is how gorgeous the finish of the material is! There are other generic acrylic ones you can find on amazon for a cheaper price, but they all have that cheap glossy finish. These have a soft matte finish and even the spring is a matte black color, rather than the typical silver or gold. The handles to open the clip are a bit small and angled out widely which make it a little harder to open, so I wouldn’t recommend it for someone who has weakness in the hands/fingers or even long nails. Overall, I would say it really stands out for the attention to detail and how beautiful it looks, but is a little more difficult to use.

I have very fine but thick (lots of it) hair. All the claw clips Iâve tried could never hold my hair nice and tight, my hair was always loose or fallen after a few minutes. When I received these, I twisted my hair up and put the clip onâ¦it felt different, it felt secured! Hours later, my hair was still clipped and had barely moved. The clip also wasnât digging into my scalp. What a great find! These are my favorite clips now, the only ones I use.
