Knife Set With A Unique Feature
I have owned several items with built-in UV cleaning capabilities, but until now, I have never had a set of knives like this stylish and sharp set of seven from Kitajun that contains a high tech, UV cleaning light in the storage case. Itâs an interesting idea, and something they should really have in butcher shops or high volume restaurants where things are washed quickly and not always thoroughly. The Kitajun knife set comes with a sharpening steel and a handy pair of kitchen shears as well, so itâs a complete and useful set. The blades are made of hardened German steel and finished with a baked on finish that the product page says will not come off. The blades are razor sharp and have a mirror finish. The handles are made of plastic that will not trap bacteria in them and they have a great solid feel in the hand. See my video for a look at the white handled set finished in rose gold that I ordered. They also have an all black set that also looks very cool. The knives are balanced and work well and come in a variety of sizes from two different straight chefâs knives, a Santoku style blade for heavy work, a bread knife, a filet knife, paring knife and a fruit knife. Obviously, if you cook like I do, you will use these for whatever you want, but itâs nice to have the options. I tend to use one knife for everything, but thatâs just me. The price is fair for the quality, and the knives are seemingly very well made. Iâve had mine for a long time and have enjoyed using them. Of course, you must wash the knives before you clean them with UV, which takes about 15 minutes for a full cycle, but an extra layer of cleanliness in our modern day battle with pathogens and germs is greatly appreciated. The case holds a charge for seven to ten days of use and comes with a C-type charger, but no block. This knife set is a âsharpâ addition to your kitchen.

I love this knife set but we have had it a few months and the handle is loosening on one knife and then the gold cap fell off the back of one knife so now it doesnât look as good without a cap!

My favorite set so far!
This has become my personal set to cook with at home. My husband is a professional cook and he has his own set that he likes to cook with and this set has become mine. They are lightweight and not too big for me, and I like how they feel in my hand, and they are very sharp as well. The number one thing that I love about this set, is that the storage box that they go in can dry and sterilize them. I recently tested a set of knives that started to show rust spots within days of using them and I was not happy. So I love that I can wash these knives and slightly dry them and after setting them in their storage block, I just have to cover them and press the bottom, and they are dried and sterilized within 15 minutes. I also like that this set of knives takes up very little space compared to the other knife sets I have reviewed.
