Fantastic value
Great quality fabric. As stated in other reviews one side is matte, which was perfect for my project and the other side has a reflective sheen. Both are great. The sewn in pocket at the top makes for easy hanging.Some reviewers mentioned wrinkles. I found that 5 minutes with a garment steamer easily fixed it. The wrinkles were a challenges, but the product has to be folded to ship, so what do you expect?

Wrinkles
This product is great for taking photos with a white background. It is microfiber on one side, but is either nylon, or polyester on the other side. This helped when I needed to iron the wrinkles out.To iron out the wrinkles, I put my iron on the silk setting and started to steam the backdrop. 95% of the wrinkles came out when properly ironed.I believe a better option would be to steam the wrinkles out, but I only had an iron on hand.Overall, great product and would recommend for its price.

We use this for filming a lot and it works well. It is not sheer at all against a wall, and has a nice weight. The velvet holds a better depth than the paper backdrops.It does wrinkle. That’s a fact of life. I suggest steaming and lint rolling in the direction of the velvet.

It was dirty when I got it
I finally have the chance to use this tomorrow, so I took it out to practice setting it up, and to practice taking pictures with a backdrop. There are several places on the fabric that are a bit soiled, like dust or dirt got in as it was being folded. The dirty marks are all in places where the front of the fabric touched, and mirror impressions. Also, there are no washing/care instructions, so I’m not sure what the best way to wash it is. It is a rather nice backdrop otherwise, with a casing sewn into one end. This does make it very easy to hang on the frame. Eventually, I’ll probably add a casing along the long edge so I can use it in either configuration.
