Not bright but still a nice light
I had expecting these to be a bit brighter but I find them a little dull. I installed them under my kitchen cabinets. The installation was ridiculously easy and the adhesive backing allows for some manipulation around corners without too much trouble and cutting to size was simple.I like the Kasa line and these work well for now. I’d probably want to install a second light strip above or below these for some extra light next time.

I found these and LOVE that I can set them on a schedule and turn them on/off from an app on my phone. No more worrying about them staying on all day. He is thrilled with all of the color choices (though I told him it had to be pink, red or purple to help with sleep) and I love that I can dim them. They were super easy to install and I had no issues. Easy to line up with the ceiling and the remote control is secured to the wall nicely.

I bought this because I like the Kasa plugs and switches I bought. I wanted under cabinet lighting and this would fit nicely into the already existing Kasa universe at my home. They installed well and are bright. The colors are vibrant and come with some simple effects. Configuration was easy, and adding them to Home Assistant was not difficult. The app is also very easy to use.After having them installed without any issues, they worked great. I implemented a few automations in Home Assistant and the LEDs worked consistent as expected. Then came the WiFi disconnect and the whole string becomes unavailable for days. Removing power does not help. Moving the controller does not help. Eventually the controller forgets the WiFi information and I have to add it back to the network using the app. The first time this happened, things went well for a couple of weeks⦠And then the unavailability comes back. This time a factory reset and added back to WiFi with app. It worked as expected. Just recently, the same WiFi problems are back. It would not respond to anything⦠Power down, switch push, it just remained on. I did another factory reset, connected it back to WiFi, and it is inconsistent.I purchased this because of my experience with the Kasa in-wall switches which have been rock-solid. I also use the Kasa plugs, which have very occasional unavailability. The KL420 and KL400 have frustrating WiFi consistency.

Needed lighting for my closets and underneath my kitchen cabinets. Originally I had purchased a knockoff brand (twice actually) and the lights did not work (both times). I bought these as a last ditch effort before giving up on light strips altogether, and honestly I’m kicking myself for not doing it sooner. They’re a GAME CHANGER. I was getting dressed in the dark like an idiot.The lights work great with the app, and the app itself is intuitive and provides some fun features and presets. You can save up to 5 presets per light strip. You can also divide your settings by rooms in your home, which is a useful feature..I included some screenshots of the app for the nerds.Have yet to test if the app can turn the lights on or off when I’m not at home, but they work well in the apartment.One thing I did not realize is that when you buy the 2 strips it only comes with 1 plug, they are NOT a complete separate set of 2. Bummer, because I had planned to put the lights in 2 different rooms. Regardless, I’m buying more.

I bought 3 boxes of these. I put 2 strips up on my railing. At first all colors and lights worked and looked great. But now, certain areas of the strips the lights either don’t work or…when the strip is on a certain color, like let’s say blue, there’s certain lights that aren’t blue and are a different color like the lights have burned out. The 3rd box I gave to my friend, he put them up and 1 week later he’s having the exact same problem. The lights in certain areas of the strip burn out or go to another color. Not impressed. Sending back.

Came with an American plug, I assumed seeing as it was sold on Amazon Australia and came from Australia it would be an Australian plug, nowhere in the description did it say otherwise. Seller gave me $18 back for me to buy an adaptor! Shame America and Australia use different voltages!!!
