Holy Heatless Hair!!
Omg – these are an absolute dream! I saw a bigger brand of these being used by an influencer on social media and I had to try them but didnât want to spend much u sure of how they would work for me or if the results I saw online were really realâ¦These WORK with little to no effort.My hair usually doesnât hold a curl or wave or a body for that matter. I have tried just about every hack. This is one that actually works, and with the smallest amount of effort! I have medium to long hair, itâs fine, but I have a lot of it And have always had trouble getting left at the Rt, even with layers. I put these in at night and keep them man as long as possible. Sometimes when Iâm working from home, I will leave them in until I have to go somewhere. I pull them out and Iâm ready to go! Only slight downside in the beginning is figuring out the right placement of them on your head, depending on how you sleep, to make sure you are comfortable. Now my daughter fights me for them at night, so sheâs getting a set, and all of my friends have been asking what I have been doing with my hair, so theyâre getting them too lol!

While I initially struggled with some bumps and creases in the front of my hair, a few TikTok tutorials helped me figure out the best technique for my hair type. Now, itâs a breeze to use and even comfortable to sleep in as a side sleeper.A few tips: use hairspray, as the curls wonât hold without it. I have medium-length, thick hair that falls to my chest, and while the curls loosen throughout the day, the volume stays beautifully intact. With my layered cut, I have to be mindful to roll all the layers properly without tugging at the roots.The only downside is that I donât get the smoothing effect I would with heat styling. However, adding the right styling creams and hair oil helps achieve a polished look. Overall, these curlers are a fantastic alternative to heat styling, especially if volume is your priority.

Steep learning curve but beautiful results
I LOVE the look of my curls when I can get these rods to work for me. Theyâre extremely hard to work with, even after hours of redoing them over the last month and dozens of tutorials. They make beautiful beachy waves, but they can be really hard to work with. For one, they have no grip side to the rod like some other ones on the market. This makes it really hard to get the hair to stay in place when you start rolling it up from the bottom. I didnât think this would be a deal breaker, but when youâre learning with them, it makes it soooo much harder to restart if you donât like how itâs looking and rewrap your hair from the beginning. Donât even try to sleep with them. You wonât. I couldnât, more than once. I gave up and started wearing them for at least 2 hours before going out during the day and they held really well. Avoid wet hair at all costs using these. Maybe the most faint wet ends with a spray bottle, but anything more and they will never dry with the rods in.

I always get compliments on my hair when I use these. Iâd suggest using a product on your hair that will help it to maintain and hold shape as where the hair dries it will lie and where you use heat it will keep the shape but you do neither with these. So double up with a product or hit it with heat under your silk cap and youâre good to go!

Best overnight blowout!!
I have tried heatless curls multiple times in the past and I feel like they have always came out looking frizzy and ugly. I am currently on a hair growth journey trying to reduce my heat usage so I decided to give these a go. To my surprise I woke up with a beautiful bouncy blow out! For everyone saying these didnât work let me help you out with some tips before you throw in the towel like I did some years ago:1. Invest in a comfortable silk bonnet that you can sleep in. Trust me, this made a HUGE difference from my previous uses. I woke up with little to no frizz.2. Blow dry your hair after you wash your hair to make it sleek. I used to always attempt heatless curls on damp hair and I always came out with frizzy, non uniformed curls which probably has to do with fact that I have naturally wavy hair. If you have wavy/curly hair like me I would suggest blow drying your hair to make it sleek after you wash your hair. I only wash my hair once or twice a week so I only use heat a few times a week max which is a lot better than everyday heat styling.3. Use on dry hair instead of damp hair and add a styling product to hold the curl. When itâs time to put your hair in the rods before you go to bed, put in a hair serum or hair product before you roll your hair up. I use the Kerastase 8 hour overnight serum and it is AMAZING. Although pricey (retails for $60), it is worth it. It is a serum not an oil and you do not have to rinse out the product in the morning. I am sure you can find more affordable alternatives with the right research!Hope this helps <3

They Work
This worked on my natural hair, plus my bundles. I did curl before hand & added oil before rolling. I used a Domican net on top with a bonnet on top of that. I wore the rollers for 12 hours. First picture is after me first taking them out, 2nd picture with the glasses is after 5 hours. As far as placement, I put the one in the front, and two in the back kind of looking like pigtails or princess Leia buns behind my ears (for visual). Also, I must note that the rollers are not as big as they make them seem. There’s nothing jumbo about them actually. I’ve seen bigger ones in my travels on the internet. But they did still work.

Not for me!
I gave it 3 stars because the product itself works how it’s supposed to and the velvet holds hair MUCH better than silk rods. However, sleeping with these in was awful haha. I somehow fell asleep but 2 hours later I had to take them out because it was so uncomfortable. So if you’re wanting to use these you’ll either have to wear them during the day (even though you need to wear them probably for at least 4 or 5 hours to get good results that will last) or you’ll have to suffer through the night unfortunately. Not worth it to me. I would rather just use a curling iron or Velcro rollers.

The product took over a fortnight to arrive and the box was slightly crushed but it was definitely worth the wait. After blow drying my hair on a hair wash day I put two rods in before I go to sleep. At first they were difficult to sleep in and slightly uncomfortable but Iâm getting used to it now. They are so worth it!!! My hair looks better than any salon blowout Iâve ever had. Iâve got the most compliments on my hair I ever have in my life. The only time Iâve been using heat is when I blowout my hair but otherwise the bounce and blowout lasts four to five days before I wash my hair again. I can already see the healthiness of my hair from using the heat less option instead of a straightener. Also a tip is to sleep with your hair in a loose bun tied in a big silk scrunchie to keep the bounce! Love this product and definitely recommend!
