Will fit under a kitchen cabinet IF you modify it
So I really like joseph joseph products. Saw a guy on youtube handcraft a wooden spice rack very similar (pivots, slides in). No way I was going to build that (or hire a woodworker to build one) so I bought this one. Because it’s designed to hook on thin shelves (like 1/2″), and most kitchen cabinets are thick on the bottom, the hook isn’t going to fit. So I took it over to my band saw, cut the arms and the extra material, sanded it clean, then added my own VHB strips of tape so it had plenty of surface area to stick.Another thing to note, while standard 2″ x 4″ tall spice bottles “will fit”, it prevents it from easily pivoting so I suggest not going above 3-3/4″ in height on your bottles (2″ diameter will fit 6).

I have been mostly happy with it, but there was one aspect of the product that disappointed me.
