a requested gift for my son
the price/product absolutely Shocked me> I was expecting a full size bipod but this is a very small item- (8″?)..I would have given it a 2-3 star if it was for me. But, my son Loved it, so I rated it a 5 star based on that.

    Efficacy
This product is a bipod used to stabilze a firearm during shooting. It does that efficiently. It is lightweight so easily used by small and karge framed ibdividuals.

    Good Product
Light and easily removable and with multiple mounts it can go rifle to rifle. Carry in the backpack so it doesnt jab you in the back.

    Expensive but very good
I bought the basic bipod. It is expensive but the design is very good and weight is very light. I hunt by foot so reducing weight in my backpack is important. My only concern is that you have to be careful with noise when fitting the bipod to your rifle. If you are close to your target they will hear you. Best to have it attached before you are too close.

Excellent bipod; This is the one to get within the javelin lineup, just upgrade it.
These are expensive for what they are, but very good, and in my view they are well worth the weight savings and elimination of snag hazards while hiking, hunting, etc.If you’re researching and considering this product, you’re no doubt wondering whether you’ll be happy with the “lite” version or whether you might be better served with one of the “pro” or “tactical” models. If you crunch the numbers on cost, weight, and features your best bet is to purchase the “lite” with standard legs, and then buy 2x tac legs to give you spring-loaded quick leg extension. The result weighs 7.4 ounces (not counting the mounting bracket). This costs less than just buying the “pro tac” or other upgraded model, and will give you an all-black coloration to boot (better IMHO than the silvery color of other models).A few additional things to consider:-It comes only with an attachment bracket for a swivel-stud (no picatinny or Mlok attachment), so you will have to purchase those separately.-It has no QD mount that just clamps the bipod onto a preexisting picatinny rail, so you will pretty much have to buy a mount for every weapon you want to use this bipod on. This means you’ll likely have to invest money to specifically configure your weapons if you want to save money by quickly moving the bipod between rifles.-Based on my experience, they have downgraded their packaging to a little sack instead of a hard plastic case, mine did not ship with a hard plastic case. It is still plenty adequate, but an obvious downgrade designed to save costs. I ordered mine from their website, your experience with packaging will vary.-The only lighter system with comparable features I could find was the “Neopod”, which costs ~$600, putting that option a bit outside of the realm of reasonable.
