Excellent phone/tablet stand for hands-free
I bought this after buying two different “hands free” tablet holders with clamp bases. Unfortunately, neither of them worked in my space, so I decided I would need to bite the bullet and get a floor stand. This one looked like a good balance between inexpensive (especially with the coupon that seems to always be available) and quality. I am happy to say that it is just as good as I hoped. The base is quite heavy, making it unlikely to tip over, and the phone/tablet clamp is very strong–almost too strong. I can see someone with hand weakness having a bit of trouble taking their phone in and out.My only issue is one that is very specific to my setup: it is just sliiiiiiightly too tall. Luckily, that’s easily remedied by connecting the main body directly to the base without the extra height pole.If you want a solid phone/tablet holder and your space makes a table/headboard connected one impossible, this is an excellent option.

This is well constructed for holding my tablet
It has worked well to hold my tablet when I use it during live performance of music. It is weighted well and very stable, therefore it won’t easily tip over. Also, the large variation of height is a plus as well. I do not regret this investment in the slightest.

Holder Depth Limit
This is a very nice unit, nicely built and very Sturdy …. the only negative (could be critical issue) is the limitation on the depth of the object that it can hold. With a .55″ Depth Max for the holder, this may not allow for thicker objects to be held firmly.I wanted to use it to hold a Weather Station Monitor which was deeper than .55″ . I had to fabricate some additional arms to work with the one provided… to properly secure the monitor.Bottom line is if the unit you want held is thicker than 1/2 inch…. it may not work for you.

The item is very solid! Many people should like it. I had to return the item, because bending the solid goose neck requires more force than I need – it’s not good for my requirement, but it may be very good for someone else needs solidity.
