Really nice compact battery
I like to have a portable battery when traveling because you never know if/when you’ll have outlets available outside your hotel room, and your phone is usually getting used a lot for maps and other necessities. You can usually grab a charge in a coffee shop these days, but it’s nice not to be tethered and to have an option if you’re in a more remote area. I already have a 10k mah Anker battery, but even though it’s fairly compact, I often find it’s a little bigger than I like to carry around and usually a little overkill for my needs, too. This portable battery is a really nice alternative and very well thought out.This battery is about the perfect middle ground between being prepared and being overburdened. It’s small enough to easily pocket if you need to, lightweight, has a built in plug that can both charge your devices and the battery, and a secondary port you can use to charge two devices at once or to charge devices that need other cables or that have ports in awkward spots. Percentage display is also a nice bonus. I appreciate the built in plug, since it allows you to charge your phone while on the move without having cables sticking out where they can get caught on things. It can give most phones a little over one full charge, which is usually plenty enough for a day of exploring. It also charges pretty quickly so you can give it a boost if you do find an available outlet somewhere.My only tiny complaint is that the plug sticks up a little when it’s down; given that it snaps very firmly open, it’d be nice if there was something to hold it in the down position as well, but it doesn’t really matter that much.Given the lowering price of portable batteries these days, $25+ for a 5500mah battery seems a tiny bit high, but I think the convenience of the design makes it well worth the price.

Charges With a Phone Case
The phone charger has 2 features that I have not found in similar chargers. You can use the built-in USB-C connector to charge your phone even if your phone has a thick case (otter box type) like mine. Another feature competitors do not have is a fully numeric digital display that shows you the percentage of the juice you have left.I like how compact it is and how it can charge my Samsung Flip 4 twice or my husband’s Fold 4 once.How I rate the products I review.1 Star – Does not work / would cause damage in any use case2 Stars – Works but poor quality / poorly made3 Stars – Would work fine in other situations, just not mine / lacking more than one thing or has many annoying traits / this product is a decide-for-yourself type of product4 Stars – Works as described but lacks one small thing or has one small annoying trait / still a decent buy5 Stars – A perfect Item with a perfect price-to-quality ratio/ you should definitely buy! My wife is constantly using her phone. She carries a brick with her all the time so she can get a few charges out when out and about. It is overkill if she is going to be at home that night or can charge while on the go in the car.We just got back from a 7 day cruise. I brought this little guy along for me. After my wife saw me using it, she decide it belongs to her now.It might be half the charging of her smaller brick, but it is also 1/4th the size and much lighter. It doesn’t need a big purse to carry it around. The connector folds down if not in use. It tells you how much power is left in the digital display. It is all around a great little on the go charger.Only negative is that it is a bit on the pricier side. There are different/similar products that are cheaper (two for just a little more than this one).This is a winner. I would definitely get it again.
