I already have the hyperx pulsefire fps pro from Hyperx whcib Iâve had for over a year and absolutely love. I had a cheap headset for over a year as well but the mic was bad quality and also just recently broke, so I decided to look around for an actual high quality mic.So, hereâs my thoughts on this:Aesthetic: This is subjective but itâs insanely pleasing to look at. It just looks clean and well designed. Hyperx is well known for creating high quality products that look amazing though, so this isnât much of a surprise here. The red LED only turns off when you mute, so keep in mind you are stuck with that. For me, my setup is already red (Rbg on keyboard is red, rbg on my led strips are red, same for mouse) so this just added to the aesthetic.Sound quality: Absolutely amazing so far. I tested it out in discord and the difference is actually insane. I sounded crisp and clear. The volume adjustment is a great feature as well. I like the fact thereâs a choice between 4 different polaroid types but for me Iâll probably always use Cardioid. Keep in mind I came from a cheap gaming headset mic but when talking on discord people immediately noticed the major difference.So overall I think this mic is amazing, especially for the price. I got it for 99$, so with everything included (pop filter, shock mount, volume control, very easy to reach mute button, 4 Polaroid patterns and great sound quality) itâs absolutely worth it. Thereâs some reviews on YouTube from tech youtubers (that arenât sell outs) that can offer deeper insight and sound quality tests so you can actually hear it if youâre interested in that. Otherwise, this is a great mic and Iâm very pleased with it so far.

One Year Review
I’ve had this microphone since June of 2021, so its been over a year now and its still going strong as one of the best desktop microphones I have ever owned if not, the best. Sure there’s the upgraded model, The HyperX Quadcast S, however for me at the time it was a tad out of my comfortable price range I was willing to spend on a microphone but the standard Quadcast is perfect for everything ranging from just chatting with friends to streaming with actually decent, dare I say, professional audio quality without any sort of troubleshooting out of the box. I’m not sure if the upgraded model would have suited me better but the standard model had already blown me away from both its sound and build quality. Its decently built and can withstand some abuse (my delivery person threw the microphone across my front porch to my door without care and it was perfectly fine). The stand it comes with is fine by itself and if you have the room on your desk is definitely a good option for holding the Quadcast however it can be mounted onto most microphone arms if you need to do so. I personally have my quadcast on a super cheap mounting arm and I have found it doesn’t affect the overall noticeable sound quality. The only thing I can really say is a negative about this microphone is that after over a year of constant everyday use, the red lights do seem to be dimming in some spots of the microphone but it does have to be dark in the room to really notice it, besides its just cosmetic anyway so its really not an issue.I have found that a pop filter isn’t entirely necessary for this microphone as the noise cancelation of most software combined with this microphone is more than enough to negate that annoying popping sound. For example, programs like Discord will completely negate not only popping but pretty much all background sounds with this microphone if you have it setup correctly, but things that use raw input like OBS, Voicemod, ect. would definitely benefit for having at least a pop filter of some sort but it doesn’t need to be any high end filter by any means.Overall I would give the HyperX Quadcast a 9.7/10 for build quality, sound quality, ease of use, and the really cool looking aesthetic.

Para quem comprar e pretende utilizar o microfone para captar apenas a sua voz na frontal do microfone (este microfone na verdade têm 3 microfones); a configuração com melhor resultado que tive foi: Switch de canal no dois (segundo Ãcone, da direita pra esquerda) que é pra captar apenas a frontal do microfone; controle de ganho na potência três e no windows volume 75: FICA PERFEITO.PONTOS POSITIVOS: – Resistente – Não é tão pesado como aparenta – Qualidade ABSURDA – Vários modos, bastante flexÃvel – SensÃvel ou capta apenas sua voz, você escolhe – Fácil de configurarPONTOS NEGATIVOS: – LED não é controlável. Como podem ver, na foto a “frente” dele fica virado para o lado e não para o meu rosto; onde me faz ter que ficar mais próximo do microfone, a não ser que eu aumente o ganho ou mude o modo para ativar os outros lados do microfone (não me é interessante pois só quero captar minha voz e nem fazer minha voz quebrar com o ganho maior). O que é facilmente resolvido se meu suporte articulado fosse bom e coubesse ao lado da minha mesa. Em suma, vale a pena. Não vão se arrepender.
