Great quality! Very versatile!!
I also bought the âWater Buffaloâ for my husband, and I felt bad bc mine seemed better than his, haha, even though his bag was actually more expensive! Personally, I think the Nevo has a better layout of pockets, which are also roomier (much easier to find and grab things quickly). I liked that the Nevo had mesh water bottle slots on the sides (with a lot of stretch), great for when I didnât want to use a hydration pack. The Nevo also has a much nicer hydration pack than the Water Buffalo. And it comes with insulation for both the pouch and the straw tube to help keep water cool! The Nevo has one big main pocket that has a separate section in the back for the hydration pack, which can be used for other things like laptop, if youâre not using the hydration pack. Water buffalo has a separate pocket for hydration pack with a very narrow opening that is clearly designed just for the hydration pack (wouldnât be able to fit a laptop or iPad in there). One note, there is some netting on the back of the Nevo and on the upper part of the straps that looks a bit like lace, haha, but itâs not actually lace, and barely noticeable. But I can imagine some âtough guysâ not liking that part. 😉 Overall my favorite thing about the Nevo is its versatility, so I donât have to bring multiple bags on a trip. Works great for travel days (fits a lap top and ipad, snacks for kids, sweater, etc.), but also compact and supportive enough to carry water, snacks, layers, etc. for a long day of hiking. Great built-in rain protection too! And itâs made well! (I always get a little nervous about buying things at a much lower price point. I think I paid ~$35 for this bag. A similar Osprey bag is ~$90. But the Nevo is solid – seams, zippers, straps, material, etc. all good). I got it in blue, itâs a nice subtle blue, somewhere between royal and navy, with black accents. Very low profile.

Used this as my daypack on the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, and I was so happy with it! Stayed dry during light rain, and the pocket for the rain cover was so convenient when it rained harder. My friends had to dig around to find their rain covers, but mine was easy to access! I like the three pockets for organization, and I was able to fit what I needed for the day (rain jacket, sunscreen, bug spray, medicine, first aid kit, etc) without issue. The hip strap pockets were very convenient to have chap stick, tissues, and money within easy reach. Itâs also very comfortable â cushioned and breathable material. Water bladder was the perfect size and worked well with the insulation sleeve. Oh, and the color is cute. Highly recommend!

Great day / 2 day pack and hydration.
First no leaks. Top of bladder was a different close than I have seen but it worked well. Easy to clean, moderately easy to pull from hydration tube. Fit one days gear good and would be hard to fit more.Hiked over 70 miles an no rips, tears.The night adjustments were not great but worked and for the money and lower weight/ gear it was manageable and recommended for the price, quality and size.

Durable, Lightweight, and overall-PERFECT
I spent weeks researching the best hiking backpack. I had high standards. The backpack had to meet all of my requirements:1. Have an easily washable hydration bladder included that holds a good amount of water that also goes inside an *insulated* pocket2. chest AND hip straps3. lots of room for storage but not too big of a backpack and still *lightweight*4. supportive backing and NOT foldable5. outside pockets for water bottle and phone6. durable zippers7. low cost (didn’t want to spend more than $70)8. and most importantly for me, a rain cover zipped up in the bottom (so I didn’t have to buy one and have it take up space inside).This met *EVERY* criteria (and the teal color is beautiful).There were only a few backpacks like this that I could find online and in-store at this pricepoint. I (thankfully) chose this one, and have now been on 15+ hikes with it, and feel like I definitely chose the best one! Iâm so happy with my purchase and that all of my research paid off. Also, I am glad I was able to find the perfect one at this pricepoint.There’s nothing I would change about this backpack.I hope this review will help other people who are picky and on a budget like me!

FANTASTIC Back Pack!
I already had an “old school” back pack – Think back in school to carry all of your books – and it was heavy and clunky without many features. I also had an OLD CamelBak that had seen better days and I wanted to replace. I wanted something more lightweight, yet durable, with lots of features – THIS WAS IT, and combined two pieces into one: a back pack and a water bladder! I bought this specifically for a trip to Yosemite for hiking as we knew we would spend long days outside. This bag held a FULL water bladder with ice and water, a poncho, the rain cover that came with it, a water bottle on the side, a packed lunch, snacks, some maps, sunscreen, lotion, rental car keys, my wallet, a small hairbrush, my husband’s sweatshirt when he got too hot – and there was still plenty of room! I also used it as my carry-on bag with my carry -on toiletries, my purse, some ear buds, phone charging cord, a portable charging bank, and SO MUCH MORE! It help up great, served the purpose, and then some. Also very comfortable. Lots of features you don’t even find in many more expensive packs. I am going to Alaska this fall, and will be using it again for the same purposes. Highly recommend!
