Great addition to a rifle to increase its utility.
I got this item for my 10/22 as some others did and they were right, it’s not going to look petite on your stock. But it isnt massive either, I think it fits nicely and gives it a good look. The zippered pouch itself is pretty spacious. I put in my 2 extra 10 mags thinking they would give it some bulk but the thing is still mostly empty! I tried to put in a bx25 but its just slightly too long. I could probably force it in but I don’t see a point in doing so. I added a small tool kit, cleaning rag, and bore snake and still had enough room to put in my flashlight and mount. great pack size without looking like a sack on the back of your rifle. As for the outside of the pack, there IS a logo so don’t buy it assuming it looks like the image. Although, I removed the logo with a pocket knife in less than 10 seconds as opposed to using a stitch cutter, and it worked fine. Other than the logo though the image is spot on.The outer shell holders aren’t made for .22lr but I can fit two of them in each holder. I put them both at the top because its actually not a super snug fit and if put in the bottom may be able to drop out. If you didnt care about how it looked awkward and stretched around you could probably fit around 4 rounds per slot of .22 no problem. You shouldn’t have a ton of trouble fitting any ammo short of shotgun shells.the velcro straps are ALL adjustable and can be pulled off and moved around to increase tightness or increase/decrease the distance from the butt of the gun. The entire underside is velcro so moving it is not an issue. The straps are also held down by a molle style overlapping velcro so they are on there pretty well once you get them set. I am not at all worried about them coming off or getting loose constantly. The pad for your cheek is really comfortable. Mildly soft suede like material that has a nice amount of cushion. It isnt like a pillow where your face sinks in like some others but it will certainly make it feel better to fire (well unless its a .22 in which case there isnt much to notice flat out). feels about as thick as a couple towels. The material feels like multiple layers of flat packing foam with equal springyness to it. I didnt notice much of a raise when I put my cheek against it which may be good or bad depending on what attachments you use. I already have mine set how I like it and everything is still in a good line but now I’m just comfortable resting on something other than all weather poly (the stock gun material).Once the patch is off there is an ok amount of room where it had previously been and I think I may buy a velcro iron on piece to allow patches or anything else I want.Only con I would say is that it was mildly annoying to get it to fit just how I wanted it since everything was adjustable. I moved the back strap up and down 3 times and the velcro holding straps in and out a couple times before I had it where I liked it. Although Im not sure this is really a con since one that was sewn into place might have just not been able to fit at all and since this one is adjustable I can move it to any rifle I wish without the issue of it fitting. I cant say the patch was a con really since the effort to remove it was so extremely minimal, but I do wish they would show that it comes with the logo in their product image. – for anybody else using this for a 10/22: the takedown doesnt have anything for a sling so I have single point sling strap wrapped around just in front of this item. It fits without a problem so no need to worry, and I can use my sling as intended. If you are interested in a 2 point sling the single point strap works well with the barrel band which has a sling attachment and two rails. Here is a link to an example: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003BAAJVG?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00This attachment doesn’t fit 100% snug on a takedown version of the 10/22 but it tightens just fine. I put weather stripping between the points of contact of the item and my firearm to avoid any scratches from the aluminum barrel band. If you decide on something like the example I showed, don’t get one of the plastic ones. Lots of issues with breaking in those.

    Great Pack for the money
I have several types of packs, some that cost 10x as much. As a matter of fact I paid twice as much at a big box store for the exact pouch, glad I found it online. The pouch has very strong velcro that can be adjusted for various butt stock sizes. The pad is soft to the skin and the padding is firm enough to keep a good cheek weld and get the elevation when using a pic rail. Pouch will fit a Tikka T3x 3 or 5 rnd magazine without bulging. Heck pick some of these up for Christmas gifts. I am going to get some more.

First impression – good quality, great value!
Only had it installed for a few days, have yet to take it into the field or anything, but it seems high quality. Love the adjustability with the 3 velcro straps. Excellent value, I ordered a second one!

    Zipper
Ruger American Gen One 308, factory stock, fits like a glove after about 5 one/off fitment adjustments. The Velcro adjustments are infinite. It does not come with a plastic Velcro adjustment tool like some holsters may out of the box, I just used a plastic butter knife. It will hold 3 stock Ruger 308 mags, two vertical toward the butt, one horizontal toward the grip. That was my purpose, not sure if I will use the external round holders, but they work. Of note the picture shows the zipper in the closed position toward the grip. Mine came with the zipper to the rear in the closed position. I prefer this though as I wouldn’t want the lanyard blowing in my face or something. And I like the attention to detail in using a lanyard rather than a metal zipper pull, you know no “battle rattle.” But for less than $15 very solid, does what I bought it for, can’t complain.

Already have the Hornady cheek pad & wanted same for Father but was sold out so got this one instead. They’re basically the exact same product! Though material is slightly lighter weight, it’s super durable & quality is as good if not better. Zipper works great & stitching is perfect throughout. Pocket is perfect for holding ballistics charts, extra ear plugs & ammo holder is quicker than reaching for a mag. The lighter material actually allows cheek pad to lay much flatter against the stock whereas the Hornady is very stiff & adds too much width to butt stock.Only adds about 1/2″ height but can easily add foam layers underneath to get desired height. More comfortable than resting on cold hard plastic. Takes few mins. to get straps just right but once adjusted, pad cinches very tight with no movement & will always fit THAT stock each time it’s removed. Test fit on many brands of rifles from 6.5CM to 338 Win Mag & all were perfect fit. Wish found this one sooner, great quality for the price & very fast shipping…I’ll surely be ordering more!

Nicely made Buttstock pouch with a really good feel to it unlike the cheaper ones you get. Fully adjustable straps with good size pocket for holding your accessories and 3 shotgun cartridge slots on the outside. Fits perfectly on stock and is a good quality price.

Not too bad. I have an adjustable cheek mount on my .17 Rem and this still fits well on the stock. I say fits well… to be honest I can’t imagine it fitting much better. The rounds in the cheek patch are a little bit much but I guess it’s a good idea. I would have liked a slightly bigger pouch, the reason being is I reload my own so I want to capture Brass casings to re-use and you run out quite quickly.

I bought product for my Ruger 10/22 to hold extra magazines and scope covers when hunting and to adjust my comb height for a better cheek weld when using a scope. This stockpad/shell holder pouch fits great on the skinny stock of a 10/22 and has lots of adjustment to fit any of the rifles and shotguns I own. I layered foam between the comb of the rifle and shell holder to raise my comb height almost an inch and tightened down the straps to pin the foam layers in place. The three straps hold the shell holder solid even though there’s four layers of foam between the somewhat slippery plastic and the shell holder. I used the strap that wraps around the buttpad to hold the foam to the underside of the shell holder and wrapped a piece of paracord under the stock behind the sling mount stud to hold it back instead. The inside of the pouch is approximately 7.5″ x 4.25″. Large enough to easily hold 4 10/22 magazines with room to spare, it also fits my Galaxy s10+ by itself.I’m impressed with the build quality overall, especially for 12$. The suede is very comfortable and all the velcro straps hold very strong. I’ll be buying a couple more of these for other guns. The first picture is with the pouch empty, the last picture is the pouch with four 10/22 magazines in it.
