It’s nice to get a new laptop
The laptop is everything it should be. My husband is happy with it. That said, since I am the tech person in the family I would have beenore inclined to choose it if the actual model number was included in the product listing. As it is, the laptop shows one model number and serial number on the case but is recognized by a different model number and serial number by HP. This is unsettling to me. As long as it continues to perform I don’t think there is any problem. I do appreciate the memory and storage improvement, though that would not create a new model and serial.

Surface around and on the keyboard was bowed up and flimsy, would bow down easy when pressing keys. Terrible quality of construction for the money.

Touch Pad failed
I had a professional do the transfer of data, etc from my old computer to this new one. After working with the HP Help Desk for several hours it was discovered that the Touch Pad was not working correctly. I am returning this laptop for a full refund.
