Good for pets & people
This video is very entertaining for both my cat and my ‘human’ guests. I played this during our family gathering and everyone enjoyed ….even the kids started to watch the video. This sparked wonderful conversation about animals/scenery/etc. My cat, who is usually rambunctious, was sitting quietly on the couch watching the video. Another PLUS… my sister’s dog also enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend this video. It is relaxing and can also be used as educational tool.

Cats Attention
I buy a new dvd at least once a year for my cat Angelo aka LoLo and heâs a tv watcher. Watches so much I bought him his own flat screen. Yeah can you say rotten LOL! Anyway this is a nice dvd with an assortment of different animals that keeps his attention. I would recommend.

Not bad
The only issue that I have with this DVD is that the setting for natural sounds is just music. SO there is no natural background nature plus no Looping so you can not keep it going for more than the 50 minutes. The video footage is good. The second best one that I have found so far.

my stripy cat loves this.surprisingly, she even loves the scenes with the deer. (she has a vendetta against one in particular. no idea what it did to her but she gets riled up every time the scene shows that One Particular One.)it has several scenes to choose from. and most of them offer music, nature or cat sounds. (don’t play the cat sounds… it is Not a pleasant experience.) and each set of scenes can be set to loop Just That Selection. so cool!or you can pick “play all” and it will cycle through all of the sets of scenes until you stop it.be warned though… some of the sets only have music and not natural sounds to them. so you’ll notice as the player is rolling through the sets, some will have the sounds of random birds and some will just have soothing classical style music as the background. it’s not jarring or anything but it Is a thing.that’s the Only reason it didn’t get five stars with me.

A purrfect cat sitter!
My 8 yr old cat loves it. He was getting rather depressed with cabin fever over the winter because he couldn’t go outside. This video really perked him up! He sits and watches right in front of the TV.

Too much music, not enough nature sound
Was looking for a video that was nature sounds that match with the video, otherwise cats lose interest. Even the ‘no music’ option had music mixed in and I don’t think the nature sounds matched the scene. Cats watched for maybe a minute and left.

My cats like this, and I like that there are several video options to choose from. I just wish each segment was a little bit longer. They do loop, but my cats get bored after a time. But it’s great video of birds and if your cats like birds like mine do, it keeps them occupied.

Cats watched this for longer than Tom & Jerry cartoons (which they did watch but less intently). Not a scientifically relevant comparison, but it was all that was available prior to recept of the currently reviewed dvd. Better on natural sounds ( birds, running water etc.) than the recorded music. Cats have so far failed to comment on the music.

Actually I bought this DVD for my mother who is 101 years old and she loves to watch it, especially the two bird segments. We use the wildlife sounds and she watches them for hours as she has always loved wildlife and finds them fascinating. The segments are on a loop and you can repeat the same one automatically or watch all 6.
