Gets the job done
Before leaving on a week long trip, tried this item out for a couple of weeks before leaving. I thought programming it was going to be difficult, but it was pretty straightforward. You get 6 slots for feeding times and portion sizes can range from paltry to obscene. The battery backup feature came in handy since we had a power outage one day and the feeder continued to work uninterrupted. My two cats we curious and took to the feeder right away. I’ve since continued to use it as their daily feeder. The unit is easy to clean and the locking mechanism will keep food from spilling if a cat gets a little too curious. There is also a filter to keep the food fresh.

Love this automatic pet feeder. It works great, is easy to program, and my cats love it. Only complaint is that about half of the display screen doesn’t work which can be tricky for programming, so lose 1 star for that. I was able to figure it out pretty well tho and didn’t have time to return it prior to vacation so I just made it work. Overall, very pleased with the functionality and sturdiness. Easy to clean, quiet, and the perfect size for our 2 adult cats. I have it programmed for 3 portions in the morning and 4 portions in the evening, per cat, and one fill lasts about 3 weeks

I like that there are two bowls to receive crunchies, and a variety of portion sizes and times to dispense. This machine has many flaws, however, and I would not recommend it to anyone looking for an easy set-up. First of all–I had to get a friend to program it for me, because no matter how closely I followed the instrux, it wouldn’t work. The key to programming seems to be that you touch the control buttons very lightly. 2) As many reviewers have noted, the dessicant pack, which is supposed to sit underneath the top lid, is so heavy that it constantly falls into the storage silo. 3) Finding the place to plug in the power cord is difficult, to put it mildly. However, you need to plug it in because the expensive D batteries I bought weren’t up to the job. They wouldn’t even illuminate the control panel. Spoiler alert: the power cord socket is underneath and the plug goes in almost sideways. Totally counter intuitive.I don’t know if I’m going to keep this product–I still have a few weeks left before the return window closes. So, caveat emptor: unless you are a tech geek, you are going to have a problem with this machine.

I feed 2 cats with this. Half the time it doesn’t put out food for #2 bowl. Or it only drops a few pieces. The time works perfectly, and feeds twice a day like clock work. But one bowl only gets a little bit while the other gets full servings. I don’t know why or how to remedy , but for the price it’s pretty good.

Nous attendions avec enthousiasme, l’idée est très bonne, le concept est bon, mais il nous a déçu.Pour:Les bols acier doublure du bol/socle de plastique. On peut même faire des services dans celui de plastique si le bol d’acier chromé, pas stainless :-(. .La possibilité d’enregistrer un message qui se fait entendre au moment des services.On peut sélectionner un nombre suffisant de services de petits repas jour et nuit.Le réservoir semi transparent permet de voir la réserve de croquettes.L’appareil a suscité rapidement la curiosité féline…Le couvercle reste bien en place grâce au joint silicone.ContreLes bols chromés à fond plat annulent un peu l’effet d’inclinaison. Pour que l’inclinaison soit profitable, les bols doivent prèférablement avoir un fond arrondie et le centre un peu décalé vers le bord. De la même façon les bols trop bas font couber le cou des chats, on perd l’effet d’inclinaison. Les bols auraient pu ètre en stainless vu qu’il servent pour la nourriture.Le couvercle est bien gardé en place, mais difficile à enlever la petite clip à presser est mal adaptée/ ajustée on doit reprendre le dévérouillage quelques fois. Ce qui amène un autre problème.Le couvercle tenant bien , on s’aperçoit que même avec une bonne base carrée, le distributeur est trop léger, il glisse et renverse quand on veut ouvre le couvercle. Mes chats l’ont remarqué et en ont fait leur nouveau jeu…les petits monstres sont arrivés à le renverser 2 fois en poussant sur le bord supérieur l’appareil glissait et la base allait atrêter sur le bord de tapis et culbutait!. La solution est de placer la machine sur un tapis mou. Il faudrait une base moins dérapente, plus lourde ou des creux où nous pourrions insérer des pesées pour le stabiliser.En tout, il a fonctionné un peu moins de 3 semaines, avec un moteur qii faiblissait de service en service. Le mécanisme a figé, même si nous avions un bon diamètre de croquettes et que nous avons nettoyés l’appareil our enlever la poussiere et grenailles que font les croquettes.SuggestionInstaller les boutons. le panneau de contrôle, sur le dessus, au bord du réservoir et plus lumineux avec un écran juste un peu plus large. Ce n’est pas pratique de devoir, soit soulever l’appareil pour ajuster les services soit se placer le visage presqu’su sol pour voir le panneau. Surtout quand de petites boules de poils vous guettent dans l’ombre.Pour le moment, je ne pourrais recommander vu mon expérience personnelle que j’ai reconnue arriver à d’autres. Je suivais cette marque et d’autres et décidé de placer notre confiance en elle. C’est malheureux. Par contre, je laisse la porte ouverte. Je crois que le fabricant a la capacité d’innover et peut faire mieux.
