This this is a gem
Let me tell you all what I was able to fit inside this bad boy for a camping trip. And for reference im 6ft1 1/2 over 350 and wear size 14 shoe. Two pairs of shoes, extra boxers, extra shorts and shirts, Fleece, a bunch of socks, and a big ass two burner Coleman butane stove top, personal products like toothpaste, facecloth and stuff, my knife and utensils setOn the outside I clipped my pots and pans, tea kettle, extra butane cannisters in the water bottle holders, a table, two chairs,(The food, drinks, ice was in my wagon)..this bad boy is a BEAST. It comes with a bright orange water proof bag cover which I appreciate, though I’d honestly feel putting a Garbage bag around it is more practical and provides better coverage.I honestly feel ill have this bag for the next 10 years. Super durable and tough, lots of extra places outside the bag to clip stuff, also has a severe compartment underneath so you don’t have to go through everything at the top of the bag to get to the stuff you put at the bottom. Buy it

Decent quality at affordable price
Reasonably priced backpack. Used it to hike all over Southern California. After a dozen trips, including Mount Whitney (the highest peak in the continental US), I trust this gear.

Great quality!!
I love this bag! It’s much better than i expected, good quality stitching, and fabric. So many pockets and compartments, its the perfect backpackers bag (50L) and fits 2 weeks worth of clothes, shoes etc, without being so big and heavy you end up with back problems.

What can you expect for $40?
My 10+ year-old Arc’Teryx climbing pack’s zippers finally gave up the ghost and I needed a pack quickly. I had my doubts that a $40 pack would compare, but I was going climbing and it was in stock and shipped quickly. So the good news is that for the price, it’s good enough to get from the car to the crag if we’re talking 15 mins or less. I’ve only used it once, but the material seems fairly durable just from the look and feel. Also the way space is divided up (pockets with zippers etc.) is decent. The not soo good and major deal breaker is that as another tall person (I’m 6’2 (~188cm)) wrote here, the waist belt is around the bottom of my ribs and not my hips with the shoulder straps properly adjusted. The padding is also not nearly as supportive as what a nice (read 5x+ the price) pack would have. The buckles are not nearly as heavy duty and I worry about their longevity. The straps also very easily loosen if you tug them. I’m used to having to cock the buckles a bit and then pull for them to release. Finally the “50L” is well, optimistic. Let’s just say that I had to carry my rope strapped on the outside of the pack whereas I could easily fit it inside of my Arc’Teryx 50L pack. It is well designed in that you can strap the rope in between the “brain” and the main pack. Kudos for that. It’ll become my (climbing) gym bag and I’ll get one like my previous pack for long approaches outside. I could not imagine hiking with all my climbing gear in this one for 30+ mins. Oh one more thing, there was a rain shell in the bottom pocket. Some have posted they didn’t get one. I’d also wonder if they looked as there are sort of two bottom pockets with zippers on opposite sides and is easy to miss. (One larger and one smaller.) So in summary, don’t expect this to compare to high-end packs, but if you aren’t going on long hikes and just need a pack that is well-divided, then it seems like it’s decent value for the price. Perhaps if you have a much shorter torso, then it’d be a better fit.

GREAT QUALITY BAG!
I bought this for my 2 week backpacking trip in Asia and it held up super well! It has best compartments and is really great quality. I was able to carry it on to all the planes I went on with no problem. Can’t recommend this bag enough!

I travelled a fair amount before Covid hit and have used a few different bags in the past. As I am now beginning to continue my travel domestically, I was looking for a mid sized bag with many features without breaking the bank. I came across this bag so decided to give it a shot based on the good reviews.Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with the offerings this bag has. It has plenty of different pockets for different uses including an attachment for a water pouch which is super handy. This eliminates the need to carry a water bottle as it lies in your bag and you use a straw to drink. I really like how how has a compartment for shoes. On rainy days, you donât want your shoes mixing with your clean clothes and this is an easy way to eliminate this issue.Easily fits up to a week of clothes for me personally (experienced packer) and Iâm sure could even stretch it a bit if need be. The support is great as well and really comfortable on the back. The only downside I have is that the clips do not appear to be the most sturdy. I havenât had any issues with them yet but hoping they last a while. Despite this, the company offers a 1 year warranty which is comforting.Overall, if youâre new to hiking/travelling and want great value for your bag, donât waste your money at MEC ($200+) and grab this one.

I’m happy with this product. I took it to big trips over the States a few times, it fits good in the overheard bin from airplanes, good for carry on luggage. I can pack my badminton shoes and other pair of shoes, lots of space, very comfortable, it came smelling good even! The only thing is that the back foam is not rigid enough to keep the backpack straight when it is empty, but maybe this is a thing that happens to all backpacks?I love all the space I have and everything is still standing!!

Went on a 2 week trip to Vietnam with it and experienced an hour outside in the heaviest rain I’ve seen in my life without an umbrella.I had the rain cover that comes with it, and wore it underneath a water resistant rain jacket. My clothes inside I felt a bit of moisture after but nothing to cause any issues and nothing compared to the rest of my body. The airline accepted it as carry-on.Enough storage for about 1-1.5 weeks of clothing.Fitted the following:8 shirts3 shorts2 pants10 pairs of underwear/7 pairs of socks1 pair of running shoes and 1 pair of sandals in bottom zipper which you must be okay with to crushFew small miscellaneous itemsHad friends on this trip paying $200 for 44L backpacks and this did the job just as well. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Not the sturdiest, not the highest quality, but acceptable for the price. The hip belt pads/pockets are very small, 6ish inches long and 3-4â high, sternum strap is very short. I replaced mine with a strap I found on Amazon in the $10 range. Waist belt is very long. Ok quality, just order knowing itâs a cheaper end pack, and not the quality of a higher end backpack. Not even in the same range.
