Ok, I had my doubts about this. I have never had a really good / working indoor antenna. I figured I would be lucky to get a few blurry stations, but had to try. Cost was low, so worth a shot, right? I got the antenna yesterday, and hooked it up in my family room on a 50″ Vizio HD TV.My room windows face East out towards Tampa Bay. and the antenna is about 10′ from the windows.I hooked it up; simple enough – coax connection.Set my TV input to TV, and scanned for channels.I was shocked. 84 stations found! Not all come in clearly, but over 60 do.Now these are not the best stations, but I get ABC (lots of folks say this is an issue as its VHF), CBS, NBC, FOX and a bunch of PBS/EDU stations among others.Very happy with the device. Better than I expected, though my expectations were low….

50+ Channels with great reception. Placed on nearby window sill. Convenient long cord included. One odd thing that i struggled with was related to Phillips Smart TV i am using. When i first tried…The auto channel scan did not work properly and finished by saying no channels were found.. Over and over… repositioning the antenna. Turning the TV on / off. Lots of cursing !!With the antenna still attached to the TV… I finally had to unplug the power from TV and let it completely reset (10 seconds), plugged back in the TV power and auto channel scan works perfectly every time….50+ Channels found / made available.

After cutting cable costs, I owned a Mohu antenna for 5 years. I have tried other antenna to replace it. This is by far the best reception & easiest to mount on its magnetic base . I face north away from the CN Tower and reception is clear picking up 8 channels. The most that I would ever watch CTV, TVO , Global ,City and Radio Canada all as clear even the best cable. I also pick up 3 ethic channels but do not watch them. If I still had cable I would have had to pay for them irrespective. The simple coaxial cable is so easy no need for a UHB port. I highly recommended this inexpensive product.
