Wow! So easy!
Highly recommend!! I hadnât used a pronged collar before but the Herm Sprenger was what our trainer suggested for our gsd puppy. Getting that on and off was tricky. I found this product & ordered it, hoping to find an easier way. This arrived very quickly. I was able to attach it to the collar easily (removing a few prongs to adjust for the length of the clasp). Now getting the collar on and off is done in a snap! Bonus is that the small weight of the clasp helps keep the collar centered on her neck correctly. Without this clasp, the collar would slide a little and Iâd have to try to adjust it without pulling on it.

I bought this for my dogâs collar. The collar was not manufactured by the same company, though, and my dog trainer had to add a zip lock to make it work. This catch is very easy to use and can be released with one hand. Thus far, it has lasted for many months and I feel good that my dog is well-secured when I take her for walks. So much easier
Our prong collar was so difficult to put on and take off our dog. And this little addition makes it so easy. We removed the small square silver plate and one prong and replaced them with this buckle, and it fits exactly the same. It clicks when you put the two pieces together, and then the lock part slides over securely to keep it together. So easy. We’re very happy with this purchase. And so is the dog!

Very sturdy, great safety
I thought this would make it easier to put on and take off my dogs prong collar, but it takes just as much time and is a little more difficult because my dog isnât used to the buckle being attached under the neck as opposed to on the back of the neck behind the ears. Itâs not the worst thing in the world and ultimately just comes down to training the dog to get used to a difference process, but it didnât save the time that I was hoping it would.Because the buckle is so sturdy and secure and actually takes quite a bit of force to push it in and release the buckle. On one hand thatâs great for security knowing that it wonât fall off if your dog is trying to get away, but on the other hand itâs a bit annoying to deal with it every time you put it on and take it off.I gave it five stars because itâs probably the best one on the market as far as reliability and strength, but Iâm not sure itâs a necessary item as it requires you to remove some prongs from the collar to make it fit the same.

So it works great but I didn’t think about my dogs flabby skin around the neck would be an issue. So that’s on me beware the skin can get caught and makes buckling more stressful. So I’m gonna keep it on cause I find it holds the prong is place. And it’s easy to remove but going to put it on the normal way. Just so no accidents happen
