SUPER BIG
These bags are SUPER big…loved the size but my vacuum wasnt attaching to the spot very well…didnt work as well as others I bought at walmart. However, we still used them to haul a few things in to keep them from getting scratched.

Works Well as long as sealed
Good sized product to store large pillows and blankets. I used it to store my wifes maternity pillow which is gigantic. Hand to wrestle and manipulate it a bit to fit but once I got it in there and sucked the air out it really compressed it. Perfect to get it to store nicely underneath the bed. Only gripe I have is that the seal eventually opened a couple of months later and I haven’t taken the time to wrestle it back out and reseal and deflate it again. Overall a good product and I most likely was pushing the bag to the limit by the size of pillow I was stuffing in there.

Donât hold out the air on second use
I bought this set of 3 jumbo vacuum seal bags to store memory foam and extra bedding in our 5th wheel for when we have an overnight guest and need to open up our couch into a bed. The bed is not the most comfortable, so I bought a memory foam topper that I need to compress when not in use to be able to store in the open compartment under the couch. These bags worked the first time, but when I tried to use them the 2nd time, all 3 bags let the air right back in within minutes. I checked seals, even put duck tape over the valves but it appears after a first use the 3 seamed sides weaken and no longer keep the air out. If you need only one use out of these they are ok, but if need to use and re-use, donât waste your money.

Defective
Iâm going with 3 stars because the sealing part was so difficult, the bags have to be defective. I will admit the bags are large. I ended up with the use of only 2 bags because I thought the bag was ready to be put away, only to hear it fall from the shelf 3 minutes later, it had released air and the bag was damaged when it fell. Not sure where Iâm going wrong with the sealing part.

Full foam mattress topper has been CONQUERED
I had a full foam mattress topper for a futon (that I only sometimes used as a bed). I wanted to be able to put the the topper in my linen closet but it was TOO BIG. I tried and tried to roll it, fold it to no avail. Enter the XL Hefty bags! The topper was SO big I needed help wedging it into the Hefty bag, but it did, indeed, fit. I zip closed the bag, vacuumed the air out. AMAZING. It’s now about 1/4 the size. I was so happy, I put some other blankets in storage bags too. So much fits in my closet now!A couple notes: the thing that’s supposed to help you zip close the bag doesn’t really work and mostly falls off. Not a big deal because you can just press the bag closed. Also, you need to be careful that your items are near the suction hole so that you don’t suction the bag to itself. Again, an easy fix, just open the bag, reposition your stuff, close it again, resuction. These are really meant for VERY LARGE things and the final product will still be kind of wide.Overall: I could NOT have put the mattress topper away if not for this bag. It’s a win in my book!
