There are many shaving kits available on Amazon. This particular kit is in the “T-Blade” family, with smaller shave heads, and is best suited for functions such as beard/sideburn trimming, shaving the hair on your neck, and body shaving. For shaving the head on top of your head, you’d probably be better off with shavers with a wider head.To start, this clipper is waterproof. That’s great, especially if using for body shaving. Not only can you use it in the shower, but it’s easy to clean after use. Operation is super easy: Push the button on the top of the shaver and it comes on. Push it again, and it goes off. There is a LCD readout of the charge level. If you press the power button for three seconds, you can put this in travel/lock mode, which is great if you plan to thrown this in your luggage. (A second 3s push will take it out of lock mode).My own personal primarily use case for this type of shaver is to shave my neck hair, and it did a good job there. It cut without any binding. I’ll probably put it in a drawer.The clipper works fine, and is narrow gapped so you can get close to the skinline if you don’t use the length guards. It’s not exactly 0-gapped, so you’ll want to follow up with a shaver if you want to be clean-cut right down to the skin line.The three different width clipper attachments work well. The nose trimmer also works well–as well as devoted nose trimmers. The right angle body clipper is OK, but not as effective as the standard clipper heads. The foil shaver isn’t that great, and while it might work in a pinch, I’d strongly recommend using a dedicated foil (or rotary) shaver instead of this. The different attachments are swapped by pulling the attachment on the clipper backward (away from the front) and then snapping the replacement in place. The attachments use a lot of plastic in their construction (including the locking pin at the base), so I don’t expect they will last forever if you do a lot of swapping.The length guides are fine–acceptable quality.On the whole, this is a pretty decent kit. My old set of clippers, having seen 15 odd years of use had begun to grab and pull hair.Decided to go with this set:1) Because they have a very good Amazon rating.2) According to several surveys, these clippers are constantly in the top 5 of user survey.3) Excellent value for money.My son is very pleased with them. Lots of different heads for him to clip every type of hair on his body. I am, therefore, thinking of buying my own set 🤢😵😉.
