Super fun!
My kids loved this game and it worked really well for practicing controlling impulses. They really wanted to just bang on everything, but to play the game in a fun way, they had to wait and take turns.

Great game
This is a fun game. I got it to play with me, my hubby, and our 6 & 2 year old girls. My 2 yr old plays but sometimes knocks too many ice cubes out at once. Sheâs still learning. My ) yr old plays with it no problem. Fun and easy game to play with our family.

Toddler loves this game! The hammers break to easy
This game is so fun for toddlers. My 3 year old loves it. Itâs easy to understand and for him to play. I rated low because the hammer easily broke while we were playing so now we only have one!

Great game but..
This game is fun and easy to understand. I have a 4 and 5 year old. Only downside is loading the blocks back up for another game. I even struggled to get all the blocks back in for another round! It says you *may* need to squeeze the last few in but you have to squeeze at least one in for each row then the last 4-5 blocks and it is not easy! Haha so gameplay length varies but it is decent timing as my kiddos figure it out but I am having to reload these blocks every 10-15 minutes between games and the reloading of the blocks takes me about 10 minutes each time as my kiddos watch impatiently excited to play again ð great game, great concept, and I understand the squeezing of the blocks is what makes the game last longer and be more engaging but my oh my is it tedious.

FUN
This game is AMAZING. It’s a game of both skill and chance. Sometimes you can play the right moves but you still lose and you don’t know what to expect! The only downside is building the pieces back, but once they are back on the board, its FUN TIME again!Would highly recommend.

I miss the old version
I bought this for my kids because I had such fond memories of playing it as a child. This version is rather difficult to set up, and the center piece is 4 blocks molded together instead of separate pieces. It made for a very boring a predictable fall pattern each time. I don’t know when they switched it (last time I played my version was in the 90s), so I don’t know of that layout is still available anywhere, bit this definitely isn’t it. The hammers are also flimsy.

Ice breaking game with a Penguin
This is one of the most fun games to play with the little grandkids – they really get into breaking the ice and saving the penguin!

This game was recommended to me as part of play-based child therapy and it is a HIT for both of my kids ages 7 and 4. Itâs satisfying to hammer away at the little ice cubes and itâs fun every time. Set up is easy and thereâs different configuration set ups for variation in play. We love this one for family game night. Even us parents love it! Itâs a little pricier than other games but honestly it was worth every penny. Itâs well made and itâs our favourite game!
