Great for Updos
These work very nicely for those foam bun ring things and for other types of updos. They have ridges to help hold the hair firm and stretch but don’t stretch too much.

Very stiff
These were surprisingly stiff. I had intended to use them to bind decks of mini cards together, but they simply did not stretch enough for that, I had to buy others. Fortunately I also have long hair, and they work decently for braid ends. Don’t expect to use them on a ponytail, though.

Great for thin slippery hair
These are perfect for mini pigtails or ponytails if you are working with hair that doesnât have any density or texture where most bands slide out. The little nubs give it enough grip that they stay in all day.

Not very stretchy
They are big enough to go over 2 fingers without pulling them. They don’t break which is nice, I just wish I would have known how stiff they are. Not very flexible or easy to use.

This is the first hair tie that didn’t slip in my fine, silky hair without having hair around it when removed! It is clear so it isn’t seen in my black hair. I gave it 4 stars because it doesn’t have much stretch and is hard to install around my pony tail.
