Tough and dog loves it!
I got the large size for a 20 lb dog and he loves it – it is just the right size for him – not too big and not too small. He can easily carry it around and perfect for tug-of-war. This brand is notoriously durable which is why I picked this one and this one has held up for weeks so far! It also has several squeakers which the dog also loves to activate. This has been one of the best toy finds for us.

My Bully Pit would destroy a toy within a couple hours to a couple days nothing I found was tough enough then i found this toy. I ordered the dragon because I like dragons and she loves anything that squeaks. When it arrived and I showed it to her while squeaking it she went crazy!!! She absolutely was trembling with excitement! Shew grabbed it and threw it on the floor for inspection after she checked it over and sniffed it out she took it to the couch and started playing and chewing on it she fell in love with that dragon and loved the way it squeaked. At times she treated it as her pet flea biting it and sometimes acting protective of it if someone got near it. It lasted about 4 months which really shocked me, after the first month I was like WOW this toy will last forever. After a couple months the toy got filthy and she didn’t care so much for it so I got to thinking if it was washable so I threw it in the washer with some clothes one evening and then let it air dry I did have to squeeze the water out of it because water had got into the squeaker and then I let it air dry (I was afraid the dryer may damage the squeaker) well the next evening it was dry and It was like brand new again, I re-introduced her to it and she went crazy over it all over again. She did finally end up killing it but it lasted about 4 months so that was still cheaper than buying all those other toys that she would kill within a day or two, it gets expensive buying so many toys to keep her happy and not driving me crazy wanting me to play with her all the time. So I did order her another a couple months ago and she still has it now. I also got her the monkey but it doesn’t squeak as good and she doesn’t care much for it. All in all the Dragon is great!

This toy is a survivor
I originally bought this toy for my roomie’s dog, a 95-lb German shepherd with aggressive chewing habits who was nearing the end of his life. He played/chewed *hard* on this toy & the only damage it took was a slight tear to one wing. When I got a puppy, this was the first toy I gave her, & it’s one of her very favorites. She chews it often & we’ve played fetch & tug with it hundreds of times. Now one of the legs is coming off & there are a couple of small holes, but that’s it, & it still squeaks, even after two strong chewers and a ton of playtime. I came back here to buy another toy from this brand & decided to leave this positive review, too. No chew toy will last forever, but this one lasts a long time!

Best goDog Toy so far
This is the second goDog toy I have purchased for my girlfriend’s little dog. The first one (Periwinkle Blue Dragon), he literally had it ripped open & was chewing on the plastic squeaker in less than 5 minutes. This one lasted almost two weeks before he finally chewed a hole big enough to get the squeaker out. Even without the squeaker in it, he still likes to chew & play tug-o-war with it. They say the seams are reinforced, but he had one of the wings completely chewed off within the first few minutes. These are good toys, but they claim to be much more indestructible than they actually are.

Dog loves it, but it may not last long
Our puppy LOVES this dragon! He loves playing with it on his own and playing fetch/tug-o-war with his humans. Honestly, it has held up fairly well, but it is starting to get some holes, so I donât think itâll last much longer. The threads on its belly were the first to go, but now it also has some more serious puncture wounds. So, itâs tough, but not indestructible. Weâve had it about a month. The description says âguaranteed,â but not for how long or how to get the item replaced, so thatâs a little annoying. I would have liked it to last a little longer.

Great Toys No toy is indutructible, but these do last quite a while!
We are fosters who work with several rescues (three of our dogs were our fosters at one time). We have fostered 40 dogs since 2017. Let me start by saying we have 4 dogs of our own, an American Staffordshire Terrier/ Boxer mix, A Pitbull /everything mix, a Dalmatian / Boxer mix and a (mostly) German Shephard / Pit Bull mix. We also had a lab / Everything mix and currently have a Pitbull / Bull Dog mix as fosters since we started using these Godog Chew Guard toys. Two of them are quite possessive of their woobies, all are aggressive chewers, tuggers etc. We have bought about 6 of these Godog Chew guard toys in the last 6 months and they have all lasted quite a while. The longest so far is approaching 6 months. All are still in pretty good shape. No large holes or stuffing pulled out and most have gone on a couple trips through the washing machine (and the crinkle paper still crinkles afterwards). All are still actively played with all the time and are still holding up quite well.Folks, when buying ANY dog toy, there is NO SUCH THING as an indestructible dog toy. Dogs Chew and maul their toys. If your dog is a chewer, throw them a bone, antler, rawhide something so they aren’t taking that frustration or nervous energy out on destroying their toys. We have recently found giving our dogs some antler to chew on seems to deter them from chewing on the soft toys nearly as much.

Hard to destroy!
My Aussie, like other dogs, loves the challenge of destroying her squeaking toys. Getting the squeaker out is the goal and once achieved she’ll ignore the item. With the GoDog Dragon in green (she prefers it to the pink, possibly the color is more attractive with her limited canine color spectrum) it took her weeks to eventually remove the squeaker which,for her, is a long time. We’ve given her toys destroyed in minutes, a total waste of money. She may eventually tire of this toy but for now it’s her go to and if she’s happy so are her dog parents. The choices with this company are many but we’ve stayed with the same dragon in the same color she loves, always having at least one in reserve for the eventual squeaker removal. With this toy it is money well spent.

This was the first toy we ever bought our dog. He has had it for 7 years now. Along with a toy box full. But this is the only toy he plays with. He’s called stinky toy…. his fins are falling off bits missing from him so bought a new one to see if he will play with it. He went crazy when we opened the package but guess what. Still loves his stinky toy….

My German Sheppard like most dogs will do their doggone best to rip out and destroy the squeaker in any stuffed toy. I am pleasantly surprised that having this dog toy for a couple of months now the only noticeable wear and tear on this dragon ð is it is bit soiled from dog saliva. My only regret is that I can’t hear the TV because when Jeopardy is on my dog decides its playtime by squeking the bezeebers out of this dragon. Godog made this toy too good to be chewed to planned obsolescence
