Great product to remove couch cushion pills!
Fantastic product! Our Lyndeboro sectional from Ashley is off white, and the seat cushion constantly pills. Initially, I planned on buying a battery-operated fabric shaver, but saw this product listed. Iâm impressed how well it works, so quick and easy!

I make handknit sweaters with fine wool, especially Merino, which is notorious for pilling. This item was recommended on a knitting group and Iâm glad I tried it. The Gleener did a great job on 6 of my sweaters. I used the second edge for all except a tougher sweater where I used #1. Yes, you have to keep cleaning the edge and also the lint brush but itâs a small price to pay for cleaning up my knits. I donât trust an electric one and this one worked great, including on fine merino/cashmere blends and even a silk blend. I highly suggest using a solid surface- I used my blocking mats.

Works great but cleaning takes a while
This is a nice tool to get rid of those nasty fabric balls on your furniture or clothing. I was able to clean my entire sofa in like 15 minutes. It took me several additional minutes to vacuum it afterwards too âcause the pilling was everywhere. Iâm overall happy with this thing: itâs lightweight, compact, easy to use and more effective than Iâve expected honestly. It removes about 90% of peeling leaving some behind, which is still pretty good from my experience.

Didnât live up to expectations
Bought this on a recommendation from my mom who heard me griping about using my small handheld battery operated shaver on blankets that were pilling badly in the wash. She gushed over how amazing this product was and how much faster it worked than the average battery operated shavers. Since it seems all clothing is made from polyester these days, and good quality is a thing of the past, Iâm constantly shaving and lint rolling balls of fuzz from clothes and blankets. So I was excited to have a faster way to do it.Well, this product sure did disappoint. It caused more problems than a battery operated shaver because as balls attach to the thin side, they quickly fall off again, thus re-sticking to your clothes and creating MORE WORK FOR YOU! To prevent this you have to keep stopping to try and remove the smallest amount of buildup on the thin edge, which again, is MORE time consuming than traditional shavers. So I tried just using the lint brush edge, but same goes for this. It does work great AT FIRST, but as soon as there is a layer of lint attached to the head, it starts leaving some of that lint behind when you touch the head to a new spot to clear a line of lint from your item.To make things worse, you need to use the thin edge âbladeâ to clean the lint brush of all lint. And be prepared to do this several times in the course of cleaning just ONE item. In doing so, I quickly noticed the sandpaper-like material that covered the thin edge was already starting to wear off! And I had only used it for less than one day!Iâve now used this âmediumâ width thin edge a handful of times andâ as the picture showsâ the black covering that is meant to catch the pilling is almost completely worn off. Talk about poor quality … and the reason for my 3 star rating. Iâd like to rate it less cause itâs so time consuming to use, but when it does work, it removes lint well. But who has time to waste doing it the old fashion way when u can do it in half the time and with a lot less headaches using a better product than this? I know I surely donât.

A fantastic product! Battery and hassle free!
I purchased this product primarily for my large Broyhill Sectional. We have had this sofa for less than a year and the pilling was horrible! I debated on the battery operated one or this manual one, and I am glad I chose this one. The results are fantastic! My sofa looks brand new again, and there was no damage to my furniture (which I was worried about with the batter operated). I would recommend buying the replacement heads with the first purchase, I didn’t and will need to eventually. Either way, the three different heads provide versatility and can be used on many fabrics both rugged and delicate. Great buy, and highly recommend!

That is a GREAT surprise! Really neat little product to get rid of fuzz, off sweaters. Really easy to use and worked like a charm. I have A great sweater and never succeded in getting the fuzzballs off, could only wear it around the house… I saw this lint brush & shaver and BINGO… a fair price to give it a try and. I worked on my sweater and WOW. It looks brand new! Easy Breezy to use. I now have 4 sweaters, 2 fleece vests, and a couple of wool knit hats…FUZZBALL FREE! This is a great product and a good stocking stuffer. THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT, DOES THE JOB AND I AM SO HAPPY.
