Batteries included and lots of light !
It’s lightweight and seems solid. Lights up the whole room. Magnetic bottom is a plus. Great price and nice to take outside in dark. Very happy with it and bought a couple more for gift for a relative who was pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to use. Much better than a flashlight which rolls out needs to be held.

I ordered these for the hurricane but came in late, but they will definitely come in handy next time it comes. They are powerful and easy to pull, great light, not heavy at all, small enough to store in a bag, take for camping. These would had come very handy when our power was out for a couple days.

A Bright Idea
I recently purchased the Gearlight Sunlight lanterns two pack when Amazon had them on sale. I was pleasantly surprised at how well just one lantern lit up my living room with an open kitchen. Definitely enough to weather a temporary power outage. Two lanterns will light up the area quite nicely. Since the number of lumens are not documented anywhere, I would estimate that the lanterns shine about 300 lumens. The brightness can be adjusted by raising or lowering the center column of a lantern. The column is quite secure in its movement. It stayed just where I put it. There is no light switch. The lantern turns off when you lower the column all the way into the base.One nice touch is the inclusion of six Duracell batteries by Gearlight. They should last a short time while you see how well your lanterns will work for you. Unfortunately, the batteries are made in China so they probably will not last as long as batteries made in the USA. Only batteries made in the USA are warranted by Duracell, and will outlast batteries made overseas. This has been well documented. You probably should purchase additional batteries for your lanterns upon your receiving them so that you will have a set ready to use when the enclosed batteries wear out. Be sure you purchase batteries made in the USA whichever brand you get.All in all, I recommend these small lanterns very highly. They provide an amazing amount of light for their size, and they are quite well made. A Bright Idea? Try and catch them when they are on sale at Amazon. If you can get them for $19.99, then they are quite a bargain.

Bright Lighting for Power Outages
Nice quality and works well, light output adjustable, lightweight, magnetic – can be positioned sideways on a metal surface for hands free, carry/hanging handles. Comes in 2 pack with batteries included – a nice plus. Price was great. Only negative is that when light output is adjusted it still uses up the same amount of battery power (lighting is covered up instead of being turned down).

Great quality, super bright light
I ordered four of these a mere three days before Hurricane Miltonâs unwanted arrival. They got here as promised and exceeded my expectations immediately. Itâs great that they came with the Duracell batteries needed for each. I was able to quickly set up each lantern and I love how compact they are while still being able to illuminate a whole space. Thankfully we ended up not losing power during the storm but no regrets in buying these and being properly prepared! Iâll probably put one in my trunk just to have in case of an emergency.

This a must have during a power outage. One lantern alone lights up a room. I ordered this again for a family member to leave close to their bedside at night. It should help them get around during the night + it weighs little to nothing. Thanks to seller.

Worth Every Penny
Purchased this strictly for power outages, the real test came August 28, 2024. Had a big thunder storm and sure enough lost power for a day in a half. Had only two and was perfect. It was very bright it lit up my entire downstairs kitchen area and put the second on the upper level and worked like a charm. Battery life for the time of usage did not drain the batteries at all. Was Leary buying it and must say great investment, now both my adult children will be ordering some. Price point is reasonable for what you get. Much safer and much, much better then candles. Shipping was also pretty fast. Do recommend this product. Give it a 5 easy. Did I mention it has a handle if you choose to carry it around and can hang it on something.
