We like the bright light, portability, build quality, and ease of use of this product. The product is made of quality materials and is durable. It can be dropped and still work effectively. It is powered by AAA batteries. It can be carried in pockets, purses, etc. and works great when lighting up dark spaces, when there is a blackout, and/or when camping. We are uncertain about how long the batteries will last at this time when this flashlight is used. However, the quality of the battery will definitely play a role in its long-term usefulness. This product is a great value because of its price per unit and quality.
Customers like the brightness, functionality, and build quality of the flashlight. They mention it’s small but powerful, comes in handy during blackouts, and is reliable. Some appreciate the value for money and size. Customers are also satisfied with the weight and ease of use. However, some customers differ on the battery life.

Lightweight, sturdy, with 1 odd characteristic
This flashlight is much sturdier than similar-sized plastic versions, much more likely to withstand a drop. That characteristic also makes it heavier than plastic versions; it’s a trade-off. The light is quite bright at its brightest setting, which also consumes battery power more rapidly. It’s “high/medium/low” light settings are easy to trigger with the single button switch, and lower-light settings extend battery life. The heel-end push-button switch is easy to find and press with a thumb while holding the light in one hand. Its “S-O-S” emergency signal is a clever inclusion. It’s “flashing” mode seems like it could trigger strobe-light reactions among those who are strobe-sensitive, because it’s a rapid-flash.
One odd characteristic of the flashlight is the square pattern of the light when it’s zoomed to its most-intense position (see photo). While that may not be a problem for most users, it’s unusual for a handheld flashlight. The square disappears when the flashlight is zoomed wider (even slightly)(see photo).
Another noteworthy characteristic: The “zoom” feature requires some dexterity with one-hand use, but it’s smooth enough to accomplish.
The included carrying case and lanyard are handy, and the flashlight’s “diamond-pattern” barrel makes it easier to grip.
Like all devices using 3-AAA battery holders, this one will be subject to corrosion if the batteries are not removed between uses, and will be difficult to clean. But this is a characteristic of that standard of battery case.
The flashlight comes with a plastic barrel capable of holding a 3.7 V lithium-ion rechargeable battery. But a rechargeable battery is not included, and, more importantly, the flashlight does not include any ability to recharge such a battery if you add one; the rechargeable battery would have to be charged elsewhere, with an extra-purchase charger.

Great gift!
I bought these as gifts for my adult children to have with them in their cars. I actually went back and bought myself one after seeing how great and well made these are. They are the perfect gift and as a mom it is added peace of mind knowing they have some sort of protection. We didn’t test the stun on anyone lol but did put it against something to test it out and I was very impressed with what it can do. The flashlight is so great too as a added tool to have in your car. It’s rechargeable which is great so no batteries to have to buy. It comes with a carrier case too. Worked straight out of the box. I definitely recommend as a gift for someone. It’s a great added security in a little package.

this is good for emergency or if lights go off they are very bright and easy to use

I bought this because of the high rating. It arrived late even though it was shipped from UAE. Once I tried it, one was completely defective and the other was too weak. The light intensity was below that of a smartphone flashlight.
So why is it highly rated? Because it’s sold for $12 in Amazon.com. Good value for money, right? However, the seller here (Globaldelivered_ksa) sells it for over 3 times that value.
Not only this, when I tried to return it, it wasn’t smooth as any Amazon return process. The seller first will has to approve your return. They do that after interrogating you about the product. Once approve, you will have to ship it yourself, then wait 7 days AFTER its arrival to them until they inspect and issue a refund at their convenience.
I threw away the defective flash light and gave the other to the kids to play with and went on and bought a real flashlight.
Beware of buying from 3rd party sellers who overprice the product and never holds Amazon quality services.

I’ve used these torches on a number of occasions spotting possums and other wildlife. The torches have a nice weight to them and feel like good quality. The ability to focus the light beam is fantastic and throws the light so much further than comparable torches I’ve purchased. I haven’t used the strobing effect and doubt I will.
If I had to pick a negative it’s when the light is tightly focussed the beam of light is kinda square-shaped. By no means is this a problem – the light is nice and bright – it’s just odd how it goes from a round beam to square at its limit.
