Perfect for food and water.
The food portion holds over two cups of food and the bowls are a good size. It holds a good amount of water. This is perfect if you are traveling and need a meal or two on the go. I use mine for doggy daycare. I feed and water my dog at pick up so she sleeps during the ride home and this works perfectly.

Gardner pet 2-in-1 travel dog water bottle/ food container has make traveling with your favorite fur baby a breeze. The water/ food container comes with a shoulder strap to help leave your hands free to take care of your fur baby. The water container is huge, making sure that you are not gong to run out of water for the whole trip. The food side is just a generous, because you can’t have a hangry pup on the go. Even better than two for one storage is having both a water bowl and food bowl attached to the container. The bowls just snap on and off with clasps on each end of the container. This container is something that every pet owner needs when taking your pet on the go.

Ingenious idea, Takes up a bit of space for the food/water it provides
So I have to give big points in that I ALWAYS lose my cat’s bowls when traveling, and with this gadget I did not. For a small/medium dog this is probably a great item. For a cat it was kind of overkill. A water bottle and a glass jar of cat food would take up less space (BUT I’d no double misplace the bowls). It doesn’t hold a whole lot of food and water so it would be a day-trip-only container for a big dog. It’s nice to have, filled up, in the bottom of his stroller, so I know I always have food, water, and bowls on hand. It did not leak. My personal jury is out as to whether it’s better than separate containers. I’ll report back after I’ve used it awhile.

Another item tested and approved by the granddog. Here’s what my daughter had to say about the 2-in-1 container:This is a nice container for day trips or outings with our pet. It easily holds enough food for four meals for our small puppy. I love that it comes with bowls included, and the strap makes it easy to carry. Everything is also simple to clean. My only wish is that the bowls had a bit more grip to prevent them from sliding on slick surfaces when my dog tries to eat or drink. However, it would be easy to add some non-slip pads/stickers for that. Overall, a great purchase!

What a great idea!
This bottle came in nice and quick. It was wrapped and the strap was already connected. I have 2 medium to large dogs, but I recently fostered a little guy. Because he is a little special needs (food allergies) I have to keep his food separate when we travel. I have used both sides for food and it holds about 4 days worth for him. The bowls are handy, and small enough; they prevent the others from eating his food (their muzzles make it difficult). I can pack his bottle in a tote, and not worry about it being left behind or in the trunk with the other food.We recently went to the beach and then decided to take a long walk with the dogs. I slid the strap cross-body, and filled both sides with water. The straps for the larger dogs’ collapsible dishes hooked right onto the strap of the bottle. We didn’t have to cut the walk short because the dogs became dehydrated. It was a good trek. I will probably have to replace the strap as it was just a a bit flimsy, but for now, it works.

Great for short trips
We take our small dog to visit our son, who lives 6 hours away and this is perfect for the weekend trip.This is a better way to bring her water to drink on the drive and holds enough food for the trip. I like being able to pour the water in the bowl when we stop for breaks then put the wet bowl on the container without having to dry it out.It is solidly made, has a comfortable handle, and the seals have good gaskets that prevent leaking.It holds enough food for the whole trip (again, small dog) but if we had a large dog, I think it would be ideal for filling both sides with water for a day trip.
