Chai loves it!!
My smaller cat absolutely loves this tower! She’s the big climber in the house and runs up and down. She’s small enough, about 10 lbs, she can loaf on the top comfortably. The assembly directions were good. I didn’t have any problems putting it together. It does loosen up over time, so I have to twist things tight again, maybe once a month. When it’s tight it’s very sturdy. The price is great. Most towers that look similar aren’t solid wood and have cheap carpet fabric. Which also makes this one look so much nicer. The hight is perfect. I have low ceilings. As you can see in the pic, the tower doesn’t touch the ceiling but comes close and has a wall mout part at the top. This works much better than the ones that use a tension rod at the top. My cats are a bit wild, the other one is about 14 lbs, so they jump and swing and pulled tension towers over. I haven’t had that at all with this one. I love that the center pole is entirely wrapped with the rope because they can scratch everywhere and pull themselves all the way up.

I bought this to go in the corner behind my door to allow my cats an additional entry to their cat wall. It works PERFECT! Love that it mounts to the wall so it’s very sturdy, the platforms are a decent enough size for my large felines, not to mention being a scratch post. I did “flip” around the steps on the right side from its intended placement to create a more even and uniform flight up.

Pros and cons.
The pros:- If attached to the wall correctly (via studs), it’s incredibly sturdy. It is not intended to be attached to drywall alone. The included anchors are for solid walls; solid walls are exactly what they sound like, not drywall over studs with large cavities.- Easy to construct. I was able to do it alone in around 20 minutes. I recommend a stud finder.The cons:- The steps are too small. Even for a very small cat, it’s difficult for them to actually climb down the steps. We have a 6-month-old cat who tried climbing from the 4th step to the 3rd step, and he went butt over elbows after getting his front paws down. He made a not-so-graceful landing on the floor. The only way to make this safer–other than extending the shelves yourself–is to hang other shelves that give them an alternative way down.- The smell. The other reviews were correct; it does have a strong chemical odor. I can smell it down the hallway. I assume it will air out, but it’s something to be aware of. It would be best to open the bag inside the box and let it air out in the garage or outdoors for a few days.

We have a few cats and they all absolutely love this thing. Itâs pretty durable when you install it correctly- and the instructions are easy to understand.Our largest cat is just over 9.5 pounds and he can hike up and down the tower with no issue:)It did smell a littlleeeee bit like.. old wood(?).. when I first installed it, but the smell went away after a day or so. Nothing unpleasant.

Okay but the chemical smell is overwhelming!
This is a minimal and simple cat tree that I installed in my bedroom so my cats can get to their baskets at the top of a shelf. The platforms do not have enough space for a cat to lay down so it really is just a way for them to get from the ground to the baskets.Install was relatively simple but measuring to ensure the base is firmly on the ground is important. I was off by a centimeter or two and ended up putting some adhesive non-slip furniture pads on the bottom. I think using these rubber pads improves stability and would recommend using them.Deducting two stars because, as the other reviews state, the chemical smell is overpowering and horrible! I was overwhelmed by the smell when I first opened the box so I set the pieces outside for an entire week. The smell did not dissipate and now I have fans and air purifiers working overtime. If you are sensitive to VOC smells then I would not recommend this product.

Estéticamente me resulta muy bonito y es bastante estable porque va atornillado a la pared dos veces, una abajo y otra arriba. Tengo 2 gatos activos de unos 6-7 kilos y les gusta bastante. La única pega es que no tienen espacio para tumbarse, por eso he añadido una cesta que hice y les va bien.Además, está muy bien porque te viene con los tornillos, los tacos y una broca para el taladro. Ik heb de inhoud laten ‘luchten’ maar je blijft het ruiken en dit wil ik zo niet in huis hebben.Een ander nadeel is de afmeting van de plateaus: een grote, zware kat zal er moeilijk/niet op passen. Een kitten of klein formaat kat zal moeiteloos van het ene plateau naar het andere kunnen springen.

Mi serviva una “scala” per far salire la mia micia di 4,5 kg sopra ad un mobile e assolve egregiamente alla sua funzione. Le piattaforme ovviamente non sono sufficientemente grandi x consentirle di sdraiarsi ma il suo scopo non è quello. Consiglio l’acquisto sicuramente.

I bought this as it was one of the few tall cat trees made fully bound with sisal. I also liked the fact it had shelves. The construction is very sturdy and the sections are very easy to put together. Both my cats seem to like it. It provides a tall space to climb and play, as well as the shelves to sit on. The shelves are quite small, so may not provide a good resting place to a very large cat, but would still provide a stimulating place to climb/ jump.This may seem more costly than alternatives but it is very well made and very easy to secure with the plate provided, so there’s no chance of it falling over.
