Need one in every vehicle
Breathable, convenient, inexpensive, light, and best of all, it sheds heavy rain while keeping you dry and comfortable. It may not hold up to heavy use in conditions where it might be easily torn though.

It’s short but nice and wide, very effective
I am 5’6, 220 lbs, and bought this poncho for my own use on rainy day hikes in Georgia, USA. I wanted breathability so I don’t overheat. This poncho is perfectly waterproof and very roomy and comfortable. The snap closures allow air flow. My only dislike is that the length is knee length (on me) front and back, meaning that wearing even a small backpack causes the back to ride up too high for me to be able to sit and keep my seat area dry. I still like this poncho so much that I bought a second one to have a spare. Great for hiking on a rainy day trail!

Nicely constructed
Nicely constructed. The outer shell is soft and pliable and the Fabric liner will make it cooler and less sweaty than other plastic ponchos. It is large enough to cover a backpack. Comes with its own stuff sack. I’m pleased for the low price.

You Need Protection From the Rain Nowadays
As much as I hate to say it, we need to protect ourselves from rain directly onto our skin now. You would be amazed at how much radiation is in the rain. I know, people tend to think that someone saying that, is in Lah Lah Land, but it is true. Ever since March 2011 when the disaster at Fukushima took place, the rain has increasingly gotten more radioactive. The government is not going to tell you. Face it, if the Japanese government is putting their citizens in jail for talking about it on the tv or radio, what do you think our government is going to do about it? Take my word for it, NOTHING. They still have the new media insisting…what was the latest? Oh yea, that there is more radiation in a potato chip. I have my radiation RAD monitor hooked up, and everyone can go to […] and see the RAD readings online for the whole country.Anyway, I bought one of these rain ponchos, thinking it would be good for James. He does a lot of things in the rain, and if a raincoat does not have an attached hat, who is going to look for one? You know what I mean, takes too long to find one, and everyone is in such a hurry to do things. So, I ordered one, it is very lightweight, but the material seems plenty strong to hold up to the rigors that James and I put things through. I liked it so much, I got myself one as well. With the warm weather, and the lightweightness of the poncho, it is easily worn without sweltering. The price is right too! I would definitely recommend one of these to everyone.Keep the rain off your skin as much as you can. Be safe yall!

Best raincoat if you want to stay dry
We take them for camping keep one in the car and sometimes bring them along when we travel if weâre looking for a very light shell. Obviously not the most fashionable, but goes over your backpack and keeps everything dry.

Works as it’s supposed to but not preferred for backpacking because of it’s weight and amount of space it takes
I bought this and also the Charles River Apparel Pacific Poncho for my trip to Peru during there rainy season. Both worked fine… It protected myself and my backpack from the rain. This one is lighter but poorer quality then the Charles River poncho. It probably wouldv’e been better to just get the cheapy plastic $1 disposable ponchos though becuase it kept the rain out just fine on all the other backpackers and it takes up no weight and space at all in the backpack. Both this poncho and the Charles River poncho were very heavy and not compact at all.

Durable and effective rain cover
This is an excellent product, it keeps the water off while allowing freedom of movement outdoors. It’s like a manta ray you can wear.

Used during a 6 month hike and this was my only protection from the rain (besides my tent). I love that it fit over my backpack as well so I didn’t need to carry a pack cover. Dries incredibly quickly. Hood was good and fit over a hat.

Cumple para protegerse de la lluvia, fuerte, algo sencilla, pero bien , un poco cara para la calidad de grosor del impermeable

Was surprised by the weight it is very light . My previous one was very heavy the only con is the casing i would recommend a draw string pouch instead of what was given . I would not use the pouch as its not practical and makes it so much bulky . i would just use my own pouch other then that it is a worth while poncho value for money .
