The perfect combination of semi sheer color and moisturizer I
This is not like any lip color I have ever used. The coverage is somewhere between a lipstick and a lip tint, adding color without the heaviness of lipstick. I purchased two colors, Amber Noir and Amber Rose. Both are gorgeous, âsophisticated â colors that appear dark at first but after some time mellow out. The product moisturizers without being shiny or greasy. There is a mild herbaceous aroma and a pleasant tingling feeling. I highly recommend this product.

Great color, long-lasting, moisturizing
This is one of my all-time favorite lip colors. The Ambre Noir shade is a deep chocolatey-burgundy color which really complements my pale skin tone, and has a bit of shine. It’s also versatile, because when it’s first applied, the color is quite dark, which gives a dramatic look. But if you blot it, the color becomes more sheer, which is perfect for a subtler look. What I love most is that the color lasts for a long time – quite often, I notice that the tint sticks around even after eating and drinking. I find it to be reasonably moisturizing, and it definitely doesn’t dry my lips out. The scent is sort of herbal, with a mix of mint and rose. If you look at the ingredients (which I found on the French Girl website), they are mostly organic, including plenty of moisturizing oils. So if you’re looking for a natural tinted lip balm, I can’t recommend this one enough!

Not a “tint,” by any stretch of the imagination.
I tried 2 different colors of these “tints,” which are not tints. No way. Even with a very light touch, over lip balm, they are very dark and heavy looking. Used once. Disappointing waste of money.
