In a moment of weakness, I looked at the picture and thought I was buying a burgundy belt. It arrived and it was clearly dark brown and did not fit a 34 waist like I ordered. The leather is more like cardboard than leather and itâs very cheap.

First, the belt seems to be nice. I was expecting the pic to accurately reflect the colors of the belt. BUYER BEWARE that the burgundy is VERY dark – not quite black but very very dark brown with hint of red in a bright light. I feel very mislead by the photo of the burgundy belt. If you want a dark, almost black, burgundy belt then this is your belt. If not, then keep looking elsewhere.NOTE TO SELLER: Please consider adding photos that accurately reflect the color, or in the very least include a description with the photos describing how dark or light a belt really is.

I bought this to go with my burgundy shell cordovan boots, and the colour is an excellent match.Just be a little bit mindful of sizing. I wear size 30 jeans and chinos (sometimes even a 29) and I’m on the biggest hole on the size 32 belt I bought.It’s OK, and not worth me returning it, but if I had a time machine, I’d get a size 34. Actually, if I had a time machine I’d probably do something way more interesting than get a slightly longer belt, but you get what I mean!
