Very cute, elegant looking. However, there’s no way it holds up to 40 pounds. The length is fine but, the width is much smaller than expected. The width is horrible, actually. I see a cat pictured in the advertisement. Maybe, it can hold a kitten but, not a cat of any size. Again, the width is not up to par and it’s very weak/can’t hold much weight. I would return it for a refund but, they are cute and I like it.
