The size of the watch, the text/font of the notifications, and the watch faces are all done well and well thought out. There are also plenty of great watch faces to choose from, though if you’re looking for something really specific you may need to compromise a little. This watch also allows you to answer phone calls on the watch itself, through the use of a mic and speaker, as well as dial and call numbers. Seems to be fairly durable as well. However, know what the waterproof rating actually means and don’t assume it means you can swim in the ocean with it, you should not.Cons: Though the watch faces are great, the weather logo/symbol doesn’t change. It always will read as “partly cloudy” or whatever it initially shows on the watch face. (This is not an error/ bug, but a missed opportunity. The primary function of the “weather” on the FitPolo watch faces are to show the temperature, not the weather) But, please note that there is an entire “tile” that gives you the weather and it will show the correct information, including the weather conditions, on that tile. The VeryFit app is the app FitPolo uses to connect this watch via Bluetooth to your phone. This app must stay open on your phone or you will likely lose the connection. I have also found, through trial and error, that both leaving Spotify running and also using bluetooth earbuds seem to disconnect the watch from the phone. This may not happen on all phones, so for context, I use a Samsung A42 (android phone). These disconnects can become fairly annoying, but this sort of thing tends to happen with cheaper smartwatches. Also, most functionalities will continue to work if the watch gets disconnected from the phone. However, Alexa, the ability to log your fitness/health stuff on the app, and updates to the weather will not work until you reconnect within the app. You cannot reply to messages/texts through the watch, you can only read them.Overall, this smartwatch is well worth the price! It is so much cheaper than the big brands, like Samsung or Apple and offers very similar features and functions. The only major downside is when it disconnects. The Alexa feature works just as you’d expect, too. So, I would recommend this smartwatch to anyone who wants one but can’t afford or doesn’t want to splurge a ton of money on one.

I owe a lot of my success to the watch as it kept track of everything and got me in the mindset of matching or beating my previous stats.Sadly, it does not hold up to water. With a rating of “IP68 Waterproof” I was hoping for more, but playing in the surf one afternoon was enough to kill it. It worked while I was wearing it, but later that evening it wouldn’t turn on and wouldn’t charge. Sadly, the watch died.Here’s where the fantastic customer service comes in. I wrote to the manufacturer and explained the situation. Through a series of emails, they ran me through some diagnostics – just to make sure the watch wouldn’t come back on. After a few email exchanges, they agreed the watch was dead and promptly sent me a replacement watch at no charge. I received the watch within a few days, synced it to the app, and I was once again recording my fitness and back on track.I am thrilled with this watch and it has helped me get into shape. The customer service is polite and attentive, and the replacement watch is working like a charm. This time, I will be far more protective around water.
